I'd like to think it was an innocent, if naive use of language.

Though he does have recent form for similar.

Frankly, I think there is a bit of over reaction to it, but then again I've not had any family members murdered etc.

The main issue is the perception of LV by the public, and his language which won't help the situation there.

I highlighted people saying "kill immigrants" at the Dublin riots. Do you agree with that language? Didn't realise that was just me. 

You're talking about a political leader who has already condemned Hamas and has worked with other nations on the release of hostages. Let's not take their language too seriously here.
