Lad who I worked with at the uni, was a Hindu from Tanzania (Indian origin). They had no bog roll, and used a water tap thing next to the crapper.

He couldn't get used to using paper when he first came, and said he felt dirty so had a shower after a shit. Took him months before he got used to it.

He didn't shit on the floor though, and wasn't guided by some stupid religious teaching or other, just not used to it.
