I think most folk would feel that Palestinian statehood would take the oxygen of support away from Hamas. Besides, why shouldn’t folk be able to have recognition for their country. Who are we to deny that? Out of curiosity what did you mean by the statement in bold - remove all the Hamas terrorists first and then recognise Palestine? A nice idea but impossible to do imho. Better to defeat their ideology. Is this any surprise? The rest of your post is the usual fluffy marshmallow stuff some of which may come one day. There is a long road to get down before any of this (apart from the imbeciles who jumped the gun by years in meaninglessly 'recognising a Palestinian state') becomes reality. First job before all others is the extermination of Hamas. This may not be that far away, particularly if they are having to fight to survive against multiple warlords as well as a revisiting IDF due to breaking agreements regarding 24 corpses. Interesting few months ahead. Will Hezbollah kick off or have thy turned another page(r)? Quote

Weird that seeing as though he’s just had his booster and flu jab Have you read some of the stuff that Trump & his administration have said about vaccines recently? Dangerous stuff. Particularly the misinformation around child vaccines. They’ve been in for a shit ton of criticism from health experts. Especially when childhood diseases that were pretty much eradicated are now making a comeback. Him getting his flu jab & Covid booster isn’t evidence his administration are pro vaccines. Just comes across as quite selfish to be honest. Quite happily protect himself, but then spreads loads of bullshit that puts children at risk. Whadaguy 🤪 Quote

But there we go. “Looking great” 🤣 I think we can agree to disagree on that one. Not usually my man. But when it comes to that moron & his history, I have absolutely no problem stopping to his level. Feast your eyes on some of his comments… https://theweek.com/politics/things-donald-trump-has-said-about-women Here’s a few that caught my eye On Rosie O'Donnell - "We're all a little chubby but Rosie's just worse than most of us. But it's not the chubbiness — Rosie is a very unattractive person, both inside and out." "I am much better looking than Kamala Harris. She is mentally impaired” On "The View" co-host Whoopi Goldberg - "She was so filthy, dirty, disgusting. She was so dirty.” I never had you down as someone who openly supported & praised someone who mocks others looks. But there you go 😄 Whadaguy 🤪 Quote

Don’t know enough about all the other gun waving groups in Gaza, although read yesterday about Hamas clashing with the Dughmush clan. Hopefully they’ll all eventually kill themselves and leave the civilians in peace. As you say, interesting few months ahead. Quote

I'm certainly no fan of Trump, and feel it's a sad indictment to US politics that a celebrity businessman is what they've ended up with, twice over, but I'm not sure you can knock his work on the world stage. (I can fully understand how he captured the vote btw) Don't really know enough about the US economy and such but is he really doing such a bad job? Quote

Perhaps my judgement of what he does is clouded by how he does it. Horrible man. Where to start. Domestically I think the US economy is stagnating at best, import “tariffs” (aka taxes on US consumers) will cripple them, it’s a massively divided country (by every measure, especially wealth), minorities are increasingly persecuted and vilified, he abuses presidential power against anyone who has different views, he’s dismantling healthcare and judicial infrastructure, he thinks he’s above the law, etc etc. Internationally I think he’s weak and unbeknowningly is manipulated and humoured by world leaders so they can get they want. Painful but necessary for them. They must roll their eyes and laugh behind his back. His actions over the last 2 weeks do deserve credit in the middle east, but he should have done that 12mo ago and saved about 30000 lives. He is incredibly weak in his support of Ukraine and has pandered to Putin. Got to admit he liked his dictators in preference to allies. In addition to all this are his lovely character traits as a bigoted, racist, sexiest, misogynist pathological lying narcissist. Whaddaguy! Quote

Putin then ignored Trump so now he's siding with Ukraine and offering them missiles if there's anything he's done that I've missed, fair enough, but these are the two big ones, and he's achieved fuck all despite promising to end both swiftly Quote
