The UN have called out the globally recognised terrorist organisation of Hamas out for being naughty? Shock horror.

The vast majority of folk who aren't happy with the conduct of the Israeli government are also against the conduct of Hamas.

Aye

That’s what people struggle to grasp. Criticise the extremists running Israel & suddenly you’re a terrorist sympathiser & antisemitic. It’s just another cheap way out to shut down debate. Similar to lefties screeching ‘far right racist’.

For every video of Palestinian terrorists threatening to kill Israelis, there is another video of extremists in Israel threatening to kill Arabs & take their land. One side has just been a bit more successful in their extremists endeavours.

Never get bored of saying it - Two State Solution. The only way

Utter coward

My user name is the same on all social media surely on one of your stalking missions to find folks real names you can find it.

Hiding nothing.

As for anti-Semitism accusations you're so way off the mark there it's hilarious and you'll never understand why.

I’ve read the statement. Disagree with his reasoning personally.

But what does he say specifically that makes him an ‘antisemitic racist cunt’ ?

I don’t know much about the guy, so maybe I’ve missed previous racist comments he’s made.

The last sentence or two changes things a little for me.

If he had been warned about going in between the two areas, hut continued to do so, and has therefore contravened regulations, then he's been daft.

If he was questioned just for wearing his star of David, then they can get to fuck.

Nie show of solidarity to his fellow human being

For me

It's like going in the home end at an away game and showing your colours or celebrating a goal

Do it if you want, but don't be surprised if you get kicked out or get twatted

Likewise turn up at a pro Israel event with a Palestine flag and don't be surprised if you get grief

Israeli police are obviously anti-Semitic.

No cheese they were arrested due to violence in the ground. Nothing to do with religion.

West midlands and Aston Villa however….

Agreed - would be hard to imagine anything other than anti-Palestinian/muslim and anti-Israeli/semitic racist chants from both sides.

spot on @kent_white

The ‘antisemitism’ outcry misses a lot of context for me. Though it’s all come within weeks of an attack on innocent Jews, & the risks of an Islamist attack will be a factor in the decision.

Similar safety advice has been put out for Legia Warsaw fans, who have been banned from Villa Park previously & from other European games. There was no outcry then.

Many Tel A Viv fans showing their true nature at the weekend & the risks they bring.

This is an interesting report into the levels of racism in Israeli football.

Beitar are renowned for it & famously torched their club offices when the owners signed two Muslim players. But M Tel A Viv fans have been playing catch up & had the most reported incidents of racism in the league last year.

The more facts that come out, the more anyone playing the racism card just looks a bit daft tbh.

Obviously you can't prevent people from travelling based on their race (not that I think is what's happening here). But at the same time, if you're intelligence is telling you there's likely to be widescale public disorder - then it's not the kind of thing you can really ignore.

You can ban fans of a specific club from attending the game to prevent disorder.  It was done at Villa park a couple of years ago (Legia fans), in Naples this year (Frankfurt fans), Elland Road (Galatasaray fans). I dont recall any cries of anti Pole, anti German or anti Turk at the time.

There's a whole other argument about whether Israeli clubs should be participating in Europe or even at all internationally.

They weren’t banned weeks before the game, they were banned on the night due to pre planned violence. This then resulted in bans for a further 5 games.

Surely it's better to let fans know in advance though? Rather than travel and then be told they can't watch the game.

I'm a bit torn on this one. But seeing how they behaved in Amsterdam and yesterday's affair - maybe missing this one would be a sensible idea? Can you imagine (God forbid) someone was injured or killed at the game after all this rigmarole?

PS - I'm happy for supporters to be banned for this type of behaviour whatever their nationality.

But we see it on a regular basis with other teams. If Villa and West Midlands police were concerned about violence they would never have fans from Birmingham City, Millwall, Leeds, MUFC……the list is endless. There’s known football violence happening every weekend up and down the country it never results in a ban on away fans.

I think this is a bit different, mate - given the context of what's been going on over the past couple of years.

We'll see how it ends up. I think it's one of those situations where the police are damned if they do and damned if they don't. I don't think it's got anything to do with anti-Semitism though. That's my point.

It really doesn’t

They’ve tried to play the victim card, which let’s be honest isn’t going to work for a bunch of violent, racist ultras.

They just look a bit daft, especially after the weekend. As do those offering them their seats…

Be interesting to see what happens next.

Either way, I fully expect some muppet with a Palestine flag to storm the pitch 😆
