Black Rebel Motorcycle Club at Academy tomorrow

saw there when they toured Wrong Creatures in 2018 and it was fucking ace

doing a 20 year anniversary tour of Howl

probably least favourite album and one am least arsed about hearing in it's entirity, but, so long as they do that followed by a best of set, should be a good un

I can’t help but look at their initials and think of t’Rovers though!

Went watching Divorce last night at Academy 2. Saw em a couple of times this year at festivals. Excellent live band with some really good songs.

They have some superb songs, bit underrated in my opinion. Thought their ablum would have pushed them on a bit further as they are really accessible.

On my GigAlert notifications list but living in Hicksville means haven’t caught them yet, but agreed they deserve more recognition

Club is hosting the Made in Manchester Festival next year

There was supposed to be another event and all but I think that fell through.

I don't fully follow what she's on about but Rowetta is very vocal about falling out with Shaun Ryder and Bez. Comes across a bit dirty laundry/Facebook Karen at times but it's all very bitter.

Went to Wax and Beans in Bury tonight for a short acoustic set by The Rifles.  It's a great little set up over there, the owners a right nice bloke and the coffee's good too!

The Rifles! Not heard them for a long time. I got kicked out of a gig of theirs at The Academy for crowd surfing about 20 years ago.

At first glance, I thought that was Stephen Merchant in the trilby

Sugar tickets on sale tomorrow

Not sure I want to revisit another 30 years old memory

Gave it a swerve at £62. Seems a lot have as would expect it to have sold out on day one

On the bus back from Ezra Furman at New Century. Great gig, really enjoyed it. Support were a band called Modern Woman and they were superb. Look forward to seeing them again.

So far this year unless I buy some more haha:

Iron Maiden/Megadeth in August

Avenged Sevenfold/Good Charlotte in September

Would love to attend a Smashing Pumpkins concert also but so far not really announced any locations for this year. At least not ones I am willing to travel for.

Headbanging. Brain damage.

The picture is becoming clearer.

This looks good. Tent size like the John Peel from Glastonbury

Saw this the other day and really fancied it, looks like a great day. Clashes with Krankenhaus Festival though unfortunately.
