Problems sleeping

Never ever had this problem before. I just can't seem to switch off and lack of sleep is turning me into a grumpier bitch than usual.

Things go round in my head and it is stupid o'clock in the morning before I finally nod off. I wake up and look/feel like shit.

Is frigging myself off and a bottle of wine a night the only answer? Cos it doesn't seem to work.

I find that adequate exercise also helps. Physical work tires the body which relaxes and repairs well when asleep.

No doubt it also helps to re-set the mind too.

Definitely agree. Go a bit stir crazy if I haven't got the heart rate up in a day.

I'm lucky. I have no issues getting to sleep. Within minutes of my head touching that pillow I'm gone.

Is this the tens machine or the nail mat you’re on about?

TENS machine works really well for me and the missus - especially for back problems at the base of the spine.

The 'Neptune Bed' spiky mat has cleared up all remaining back problems. The neck roll works superbly too. Proper stress and headache reliever. Slept a lot better since purchasing one of these.

I bought the tens after @MancWandererrecommended the one you had told him about P so will give the spiky mat a go as well.

hope you’re well pal 👍🏼

So to add, littlest thinks its the right time to go back to a night time feed 😑

The snooze button should be abolished.

Was set for 5:45 woke up ready to fight the world. Snoozed for 15 mins and woke up feeling I've been on a bender and could stay in bed all day.

Worse when you switch the alarm off my accident and fall back asleep. Done that once or twice before.

Waking up shortly (ie within 20 mins or so) before the alarm goes off really annoys me.

Well few beers last night and still slept like a baby.

Lovely.

All good thanks S - hope the same for you.

Trust the TENS and the Neptune Bed (or whatever the equivalent is up there) work as well for you as they have for us.

Had a look at buying a Neptune and it was more to ship than buy.

got an alternative on it way and hopefully it will do the trick pal

Bang one out usually helps

A clear conscience and hard work does it for me.

How bad was it trying to sleep on Es back in the day? 😭😭

They were deffo laced with amphetamine in the early 00s.

Major horn on, couldnt find it if you tried, wrestling crocodiles thinking the most bizarre shit ever and nothing but shapes and mad lights when you closed your eyes.

Same. Had a gap in meetings this afternoon. Fell asleep on it for an hour. Did you get the one with the neck pillow? I put my shoulders on that with a big pillow behind it for my head and was gone in 5 mins. The pain in my lower back and hip from my disc problem in my back is going as well which was affecting my sleep.

Once someone not me necked about ten and when I, I mean them got home every time they closed their eyes a recurring thought of zooming in on a microchip happened - I, no them thought they'd blown a fuse...

I, no them, just got some beer and sat wanking my flaccid nob to internet porn and chain smoking - I went to work on the Monday not having slept since Friday. Not me, someone else.

Someone else went down a k-hole once to a soundtrack of acid house, I thought I was the subject of an experiment by an alien race and lived my life as a dream in a sensory deprivation tank, all my skin was peeling off when the aliens, in human form, took me out to interrogate me. I mean this other geezer, not me.

Me most mornings that. Without any "entertainment pills".

I assume it is the effect of (overnight withdrawal) of epilepsy meds etc. Like a machine rebooting.

Come round after a while.
