Every single time, he engages in tangential whataboutery. Just like Starmer et al, they say things in the pretence they actually give a toss, but in reality, don't. Football fans the world over have dicks in their midst. Yet when the Jewish ones come over, somehow their dicks justify a ban on the basis of "safety" not antisemitism. What absolute bollocks. Antisemitism creates the safety risk, not a few thugs in their ranks. Unfortunately, Farage can't come soon enough, though I'm not convinced he will have the balls to truly get to grips with it. If he (or anyone) doesn't, then there is a massive risk of all Hell breaking loose.

They chant this regularly at games in their thousands and have done all over Europe. It's going to antagonise. I clearly said in the same post that radicals here would cause trouble as well. So I'm not sure where I have been biased? I'm just pointing out that there will be extremists on both sides. I think antisemitism amongst elements of our Muslim communities is a huge problem. I think it has all too often been swept under the carpet and not properly acknowledged. I don't think the decision by Uefa is antisemitic, and that's not what Starmer is saying either to be fair. He's calling out the antisemites who would look to cause trouble on the day. I do however think that it's important to acknowledge the extremists on both sides is what's making it such a tough one to police. Biased as in instantly posting videos of one lot of extremist thugs,,but just calling out the others, like I've mentioned a few times. Clips of other radical and extremist thugs are widely available for your next post, then we don't have to debate, thank you Glad to see you have a hotline to number 10 by the way Doris Stokes x

This is fans, in their thousands, chanting 'death to Arabs'. Can you point to where football fans in this country are going abroad and calling for people in the local community to be killed ? It's a melting pot of radical Islamists, significant numbers of racist, extremist Tel Aviv fans and then Pro Palestine supporters. Of course it is going to be a safety concern. And that's not me saying they should be banned. I'm simply saying it's right to raise safety concerns. And how the hell you think Nigel Farage is going to solve this is beyond me. Starmer has condemned the decision.

He's hardly the type to give a balanced view here and claiming the decision is a salute to Nazism doesn't help to be honest. If it's possible to step away from the petty arguments and point scoring for a change, it's important to look at the both sides here. Birmingham has significant problems with Islamic extremism, you saw that with the homophobic school protests. It appears to be a bit of a hotbed and it's a grim reality that Jewish people travelling over would not feel safe in certain areas. Tel A Viv fans however, also have a significant element of religious extremists in their mix. Israeli football is rife with it and Netanyahu himself supports some of the worst of it. This isn't just a few dicks, these are large groups of fans, calling for death to Arabs, mocking dead Gazan children and actively looking to engage and antagonise with people who oppose them. There is widespread evidence of them attacking innocent Arab taxi drivers in Amsterdam and in Greece and also looking to attack Pro Palestine protests. And yes, some of their innocent fans just trying to support their teams have also been subject to antisemitic attacks. That's what WMP and UEFA will be considering as well as radical extremism in Birmingham. People can accuse me of Whataboutery or defending the decision. Yet all I'm doing is giving context and showing the extremism on both sides. Clearly it's a decision about safety and a tough one to call. But it should still be reversed.

Funnily enough I never criticised you for not showing both sides. I just provided some more context 😊 If they’re SNP kids then they’ve already been indoctrinated I’m afraid. I’ll see if I can turn them full Marxist though 😉 Not back to work just yet mate, thanks to this lovely legislation https://www.gov.uk/neonatal-care-pay-leave/what-you-get Shows what we’re capable of as a nation when parties stop bickering & work together on something 🇬🇧 Took the wee one on a walk past the Poppy Factory the other day. It is appropriate, important to hear all views. He makes some valid points. I’m just pointing out his own bias. It’s just important to also acknowledge that this is a set of fans who consistently bring violence & extremist views when they travel across Europe. Not all of them. & yes they have been subjected to it. Combine that with extremists here & it’s a safety risk. But the majority of Tel A Viv fans will be peaceful & we need to find a way to welcome them.
October 16, 2025Oct 16 22 minutes ago, Cheese said: What a weird thing to say. It’s a ridiculous defence The majority of Israeli’s don’t want Palestine to exist. So by his own warped logic Israel shouldn’t exist either. There is a big difference to holding those views & actually wanting to act on them. Most Palestinians just want a home to call their own & to live in peace, stability & have economic independence. Yes many may think negatively of Israel , but that doesn’t mean everyone will act on those views. There were people in Ireland during the Troubles who thought Northern Ireland shouldn’t exist & it should just all be Ireland. It’s like saying we should have denied Ireland the right to sovereignty because people thought like that & even still do. 80% of UN members now supporting statehood. Thats 157 of the 193 members. With more ready to show their support. The world is opening their eyes & folk like TMJ are running out of arguments. A two state solution won’t be easy, but it’s the only way to achieve peace. The more you deny it, the more extremism will thrive. Edited October 16, 2025Oct 16 by London Wanderer
