Never minded Billy but I took umbrage to the latest couple he did in Blackpool.

On the last one he walked through the town at 8am on a Sunday, all the way through going with the ghost town, derelict narrative. It's Sunday morning Bill ffs.

It was farmers weekend and if he'd come the day before or even 3 hours later he'd have seen every single bar and hotel packed to the rafters. He sat outside a derelict hotel on Queens Sq, purposely point through camera that way, if he turns 180 degrees he'd be filming a vibrant street full of nightclubs and bars.

Later on he's walking through North Shore near the new Sainsbury's, remarking how it's all been boarded up and every property has metal sheets and how it's such a shame. 

The area had just been compulsory purchased and was being flattened in a multimillion pound regeneration and new multi-versity built and courthouse. 

He didn't mention that bit

I still like his commentaries. He's only ever going to film shitholes. But filming an area that's due for demolition I found stretching it a bit.

I said ‘Christ’ as a response to what you said about him totally ignoring the positive things that were happening in Blackpool at the time. It wasn’t directed at you. Genuinely thought your post was interesting & showed that these vloggers aren’t giving accurate representations of places. As I  said, Billy does seem the better of the bunch, as he actually gets to know folk without judging or harassing them.
