As for initial thoughts, I was hoping nobody died. So far so good. My next thought was “2 men are stabbing loads of people on a train in the year 2025, that’s fucking weird.”

I was 99% sure I knew where they both were. But as I said, one of them is 20 years old, and very independent. Not sure about you, but I don't track my kids' every single move, 24 hours a day. And as I said to Gonzo, my second thought was for the victims. It's a bit weird that you're picking me up on this, and think I should have been predicting the ethnicity of a nutter instead.

Going off what someone was saying on Sky News last night (btw, not watched it for ages, that channel is fucking YELLOW!) the second person mingled with the crowd of people evacuating the train and was arrested on the platform. So was basically just someone trying to evacuate the train 😂

I’ve Mentioned it before 99% of murderers, rapists, nonces etc etc must have some form of mental health problems. Not sure why they’ve started to bring it up now, they never used to.

Must just be me, maybe all the killings carried out by Muslim extremists are in some way skewing my view when other mass casualty events take place.

Back in the 80’s and 90’s, any bombings or similar events and I’d be there thinking “oh, it’s those religious nutjobs squabbling over some bogland in Ireland” like some sort of bigot.

All that’s changed here is the religion. Maybe if there weren’t so many Islamic attacks I’d start to assume the vaccine or 5G masts were sending folk round the bend.

Not wishing to be a smart arse or pedant, which I quite clearly am, this is a common misconception. Most don’t actually suffer from mental health problems but from personality disorders such as psychopathy or sociopathy. They are different. My eldest, who is a psychologist, explained this to me a while ago

The important things here is when it goes to court. The defence may say that the accused “couldn’t help it” due to mental health issues. The prosecution, with the aid of a psychiatrist and psychologist will call bollocks demonstrating the thought processes, planning, etc that went into an attack. Playing the mental health card is getting ever more difficult with better diagnosis

I’ll be following this case because of the above. Interests me just because of my daughter’s chosen career path

I’m well aware some ‘serious shit’ will likely happen. I’d argue it already is. I am concerned about the rise of radical Islam & I want our government to do more & get tougher. Zero tolerance on those preaching it.

I also worry about our own set of absolute morons who think it’s acceptable to spread misinformation & attack innocent people whenever a terror attack happens. Only makes it 10x worse. Southport riots an example of that. 
 

If we do hit a tipping point, you can guarantee there will be radicals on both sides. & voting Farage in won’t help the situation 😄
