Our press are fucking scum at times. They just go after folk to knock them down and others pile on.

Sometimes social media goes nuts over something like a penalty miss and instead of being a decent news media outlet some papers especially go for the frenzy instead to try and sell a few more rags or online clicks.

We need proper news like Reuters (and in most ways the BBC) more than ever but that's another story.

I must have had my head in a fridge all week because the only place I’ve seen Bellingham mentioned in any way this last few weeks is this thread.

Went to Minsk for my 50th (2008) which coincided with England playing there, our hotel had a lap dancing bar on the top floor, £1.50 for a lap dance, good city centre and a beltin night out, cheap as fuck

Israel have killed more innocents than any of these nations combined in recent years. Even more than Putin in Ukraine.

Not a great record record is it really.

Claiming it's because they're Jewish is just stupid lads. It's the tens of thousands of innocents, combined with the ethnic cleansing and genocide.

You're right though, it's not easy deciding who should be banned and who shouldn't.

But if we're in agreement that it's fair that Russia have been banned, then it's also fair to suggest another nation butchering innocents and taking land should be considered.

What pulling a flag down and assaulting a taxi driver. Hardly stuff to worry about is it. Spartak have been involved in a lot worse in previous European games. They wouldn’t be banned and you know they wouldn’t.

That’s a very basic summary of the events & the tensions it would have brought to the area.

I don’t know if they would or not no. Other fans in Europe have been banned. Nothing to say they wouldn’t. 

If these pretend Spartak fans had a significant following who hated Arabs & would be looking to antagonise the locals, then absolutely a similar safety report would have been issued. And the reaction of the locals would’ve been a consideration as well
