  • Can not speak for @gonzo but coming back yesterday we ended up with one  of our seats double booked with a protester. We chatted most of the way back, I told him I  was not a supporter and he was fine

  • I just wish folk would stop producing bollocks information and spreading it. 3 kids have been murdered ffs and the first thing someone can think of is set up a fake twitter profile and post some

They being Israeli and vocally anti Arab has more to do with it than them being Jewish.

But helmets like yourself can't seem to grasp that.

Cranks now helmets.

It seems to be all the lefties are capable of.

I'd argue Israeli teams shouldnt be participating in sports the same as the Russians. But the reactions of potential knobheads towards the fans get have nothing to do with them being Jewish.

Criticism of the actions of Israel and it's supporters is no more anti-Semitic than criticism of Saudi Arabia and it's supporters is islamophobic.

You live in an alternative fucking universe.

I agree with all of that.

They weren't banned because the powers that be are anti-Semitic.

So you can have a violent element of fans……like pretty much every club and nothing will be done. Come from Israel though and it’s a whole different scenario.

Beckham, Rooney, and Gazza were decades ago, and their private lives were massively more controversial than anything Sterling or Bellingham have done. Call me lazy all you want, you'd just rather call it "bizarre" because you don't think racism exists.

there was nothing controversial about Beckham wearing a sarong but the press crucified him for it, they went after him because he was a good looking lad who went out with a pop star, and for getting red card

Rooney liked a beer but other than shagging a granny he wasn't that controversial

Ballotelli wasn't targeted becuase he was black, but because he's a nob head

they don't go after Saka though, so dunno what Bellingham has done differently to be targeted

Whatever. Waste of time talking to a load of middle-aged white blokes about this sort of thing. I'll just believe the people affected who live it on a daily basis.

Just quoting back what Royal called DazBob

They tried after he missed the penalty.

Social media did. Not the written press.

You think Jude Bellingham is affected by racism on a daily basis?

Funny how probably the most racist bloke on here keeps bringing up racism. Sooner the idiot realises he’s part of the problem the better

Ah yes, I forgot. It's no different to Wigan versus Bolton. 🤣

Well it’s not really is it, or Liverpool V  United or Celtic v Rangers

Fair enough

I'm sure there's an agenda

Whether it's racist or not is up for debate

But to just dismiss the criticism of white players because it was decades ago and that it was justified because they lived controversial lifestyles isn't really helping your arguement

Not what I said, but you crack on pretending racism doesn't exist and isn't on the rise, and it's all just "some bizarre reason" that the media primarily target black people. 👍

same thing happened to Raheem Sterling quite a bit

this was one that got brought up once

_104706504_sterling.jpg

then compare to similar stories being written about Phil Foden

_104706508_sterling2.jpg

might be nothing to do with him being black, but the press defintely seemed to take issue with Sterling

Didn't help him having two women accuse him of threatening behaviour or the like I guess

I see people call his ability on here. People say he's arrogant and acts like a child on the pitch.

I personally don't People say this because he's black, or I'd like to think not anyway.

In the press I just think there's some kind of fascination within the media to bring people down as quick as they build them up.

He was a wonder kid who could do no wrong 2 years ago, now seemingly every story is negative.

Happened with Beckham, Rooney and Gazza etc

I think branding it just plain racism is lazy tbh. It's a bizarre realm of our media and it seems quite unique to the UK.

I think Bellingham is excellent and will prove the doubters wrong.....can't say why for sure in his case but every England superstar is a target for the press unfortunately

My mistake.....and theres no doubt that story was reported differently than Foden buying a house for his parents.       My point with Sterling still stands and the AK47 tattoo on his leg didn't help. He may have been treated unjustly for all I know but put together the tattoo and accusations it isn't a good look ......no matter what colour he is.

no mistake

Sterling got targeted and got bad press, which in turn no doubt fuels the racism such as the Chelsea fan hurled at him, or when he got attacked at a training ground

but like you say, this probably didn't help either

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2387705/Raheem-Sterling-arrested-alleged-assault-girlfriend-Shana-Ann-Rose.html

certainly more controversial than anything Beckham or Rooney did

You think the reports on every news platform about Bellingham throwing arms in to the air when he got subbed off were racist?

Giggs, ricketts, sterling, Greenwood, ravel Morrison, Danny Simpson, Anthony.

Anyone spot a trend?
