I will correct myself somewhat....I posted having read about his statement and unfortunately had to go and sit through listening to the 2 twats Carragher and Neville to listen for myself.

So now whilst agreeing with Wright I certainly feel it's just a small minority who want to get at Bellingham because of his colour,  unfortunately it's an agenda pushed by some of our gutter press.

I doubt we will ever see a player get the shit that Beckham got.

I agree there does seem to be a narrative round Bellingham from certain sections in the press for some bizarre reason.

That Daily Mail bloke was totally wrong the other day and made a back page headline out of fuck all.

Bellingham comes across a touch arrogant but fuck me he's still a kid and already won a CL, La Liga player of season and captained Dortmund.

The lads a superstar, not many come without a bit of brash arrogance.

The press narrative is nothing to with him being black mind. That's just silly.

No it isn't. Anti semitism needs calling out like the 'racism' you left wing fruit cakes pap on about endlessly.

Heads should roll for this one.

Oh I agree actual anti Semitism does need calling out but the decision on the villa game had nothing to do with AS.

What IS funny is cranks like you and Bolty thinking they were banned just because they are Jews.

They were banned because the police couldn’t guarantee their safety. They being Jews. Helmets like yourself can’t seem Grasp that.

They being Israeli and vocally anti Arab has more to do with it than them being Jewish.

But helmets like yourself can't seem to grasp that.

So being “Israeli” is an excuse is it. How many other clubs around Europe have banned their fans again?

Both

I'd argue Israeli teams shouldnt be participating in sports the same as the Russians. But the reactions of potential knobheads towards the fans get have nothing to do with them being Jewish.

Criticism of the actions of Israel and it's supporters is no more anti-Semitic than criticism of Saudi Arabia and it's supporters is islamophobic.

For the sake of it.

It just so happens they’re Jewish and were playing in a highly populated Muslim area.

But still it doesn’t look good does it…..the police couldn’t guarantee their safety because they were from Israel. Not a good look is it.

The idea that it was solely down to the previous behavior of the Maccabi fans is for the birds.

Correct.

The idea that it's remotely due to them being Jewish is also for the birds. Being Israeli plays a massive part and it is sad that any fans just wanting to watch their team play were prevented from that. Claiming anti-Semitism is pure bullshit.

same thing happened to Raheem Sterling quite a bit

this was one that got brought up once

then compare to similar stories being written about Phil Foden

_104706508_sterling2.jpg

might be nothing to do with him being black, but the press defintely seemed to take issue with Sterling

I don't think the authorities thought we don't like Jews or we will ban them because they are Jewish.

Them being Jewish played a part though. By being from Israel they are de facto Jewish.

The reason there may have been hostilities is because they are Jewish and may have targeted local Muslim areas or they themselves may been targeted by Muslims.

Because they are Jewish.

There was plenty Antisemitism on show outside the ground btw.

It is definitely to do with him being black. It's absolutely blatant, but some would rather feign ignorance and excuse it as "some bizarre reason" rather than simple Racism, presumably because it makes them feel better.

Not solely. Nobody said that

 But the main reason

the fuck are we doing back on this topic anyway 😁

I see people call his ability on here. People say he's arrogant and acts like a child on the pitch.

I personally don't People say this because he's black, or I'd like to think not anyway.

In the press I just think there's some kind of fascination within the media to bring people down as quick as they build them up.

He was a wonder kid who could do no wrong 2 years ago, now seemingly every story is negative.

Happened with Beckham, Rooney and Gazza etc

I think branding it just plain racism is lazy tbh. It's a bizarre realm of our media and it seems quite unique to the UK.

I agree with all of that.

They weren't banned because the powers that be are anti-Semitic.

Beckham, Rooney, and Gazza were decades ago, and their private lives were massively more controversial than anything Sterling or Bellingham have done. Call me lazy all you want, you'd just rather call it "bizarre" because you don't think racism exists.

Opinions. We are at polar opposites yet again. Muslim extremists running Birmingham.

Cranks. From that daft git. You couldn't script it.
