September 22, 20223 yr Author it's cheap in comparison to other 'fan parks' i'm sure the one at event city is about £20 a go
September 22, 20223 yr I'll be doing the same I do for every England game watching the telly in my front room in my comfies. The general public is a bunch of cunts so why would I want to watch telly with them?

September 22, 20223 yr Great idea. Did something similar at the top barn at Rivington last world cup. That was good.
September 22, 20223 yr Nowt wrong with it- if people want to share the occasion with like-minded folk then all is well.

September 22, 20223 yr Christmas markets seem to do alright in winter. Get some mulled wine on the go.
September 22, 20223 yr Have to say I'm finding it difficult to get excited for this world Cup. Winter, disgrace of a country hosting it, more bothered about Bolton doing well. But, we'll see when it starts. Quite happy to eat every one of those words.

Having league games between internationals is either going to be amazing or absolutely horse shit. I'm erring on the latter given everyone but Scotland have qualified for this world Cup

I hated them for drinking Every year a mate insisted on going there for beers Every year we stood around on a cold damp evening supping over priced lager from plastic cups before sacking off and going sitting in a nearby pub

If you can watch the game in a pub, rather than an outdoor ‘fan park,’ I know where I would rather be. Fair play to the club for trying to increase turnover. Just cant see if working in winter IMO.
September 27, 20223 yr A few fire pits, lobby and mulled wine and winter warming ales. Just switch the screen off and it'll be a good evening.
