We did have a fruit bowl ready and we had halal sweets (didn't even know they were a thing) Anyway as you say, the kids came, took a sweet and said thank you as did all their parents - and not one grabbed, very impressed on the politeness.
November 4, 20223 yr A few years ago some Asian kids knocked on my Dad's door trick or treating. He put out the bowl of Haribo and they said they couldn't have it because they weren't halal and asked if he had anything else. They walked away with nothing. He was livid. Pretty sure my Dad voted Brexit.
November 4, 20223 yr My lad went out with his friends for halloween, one of them is Muslim so once they were all done they just swapped sweets between them for the ones he knew he could have. Simples.

They spent the next 5 minutes going over the menu and adapting a dish for her. When it's served they look out and see her trying all the other dishes her mates had ordered on the table. Raging.
