You'd expect at the speed it was going (prior to the stall?) for it to still maintain that speed and for the pilot to be able to bring it in almost normally. I've seen Denzel Washington do it. Not nice viewing A US Marine pilot, who ought to know whereof he speaks, was on about this to me today and reckoned it was probably a heavy piece of cargo which some prick hadn't secured properly which may have caused the shift in weight. Fucker could have been carrying huge generators, helicopters, anything. The UK's military cargo plane, the C17, can carry up to two chinooks or one Challenger tank.
