Filums That Everyone Must Have Seen (or not)

Casino made a rather dubious claim in the main film thread that 'I've seen only thirty films in my life...'

Surely a bollocks statement?

Surely everyone our ages or thereabouts have watched the likes of; Rocky, Back to the Future, Spartacus, My Dinner With Andre or The Tin Drum?

Incidentally I watched Dr Strangelove last night for the first time, in its entirety - thought it were shite.

I must have tried to watch them both about 20 times but I never, ever get to the end of either Blade Runner or Apocalypse Now.

The Third Man. A real classic and favourite of mine. I got stuck in Vienna once on a business trip and spent the day and night wandering around humming the tune. Had to go up the Prater Wheel of course. Built by a Brit.

It’s stupid and daft but I’m sure influenced a lot of similar comedies

Interchangeable

Wrath of Khan is the best Star Trek film

I’m not really into films but have watched Back to the future I many times and same with Dumb & Dumber.

To be honest, the majority of films I’ve watched are comedy. Anything games of throne ish or Potteresque can do one

The director of the Tin Drum film was a filthy sod. In the book the  lad licking the girls fanny in the beach cabin was a 16 year old with stunted growth and the girl was 16.The film director had an 11 year boy and 24 year old actress for the roles.
