Filums That Everyone Must Have Seen (or not)

Casino made a rather dubious claim in the main film thread that 'I've seen only thirty films in my life...'

Surely a bollocks statement?

Surely everyone our ages or thereabouts have watched the likes of; Rocky, Back to the Future, Spartacus, My Dinner With Andre or The Tin Drum?

Incidentally I watched Dr Strangelove last night for the first time, in its entirety - thought it were shite.

I must have tried to watch them both about 20 times but I never, ever get to the end of either Blade Runner or Apocalypse Now.

Coincidentally, am on the second half of Spartacus with my youngest at the mo (she was looking through Netflix and said "oh we're doing Romans at school") and I didn't remember that bisexual bit in the bath with Tony Curtis being so blatant.

Twelve Angry Men is the one everyone should have seen but haven't, not sure what someone in 2019 would think of it watching for the first time.

As a callow youth , i saw & loved Clockwork Orange but when I saw it again after re-release years later, I thought it was utter bobbins.

Same applies to" Warriors" but not quite as bobbins.

Fuckin hell, it's free to watch if you've got Prime - missed that it was available there and have been looking for it for ages, many thanks.

Youre welcome

And dont forget, if you havent got prime, get the free trial

Star wars is star trek for kids, isnt it?

No Godfathers. Tried but nodded off after half an hour.

Bladerunner. Probs 5 attempts and not got past Harrison Ford looking fed up.

Weekend at Bernies I want to watch but can’t find it anywhere.

Do ITV4 still show Shaun of the Dead every night?
