  1. Off to London where the streets are lined with gold.

Agree we haven’t enough players, particularly playing 2 games a week, but not true to say no income. As I understand it, we have had: Money from PL/EFL TV pot Whatever we got for Magennis and Connell (not a lot) Gate receipts from the Coventry game Our share of the Rochdale gate and No doubt some money for being knocked out in R1. Not suggesting any of that is enough but it is income.
  3. I parked on Edenfield Road near the CO-OP, cheered the team off the pitch at the end, drove down Norden Road to Bury and Rochdale Old Rd. Into Bury then A58/Ring Road and was home by 10:30.

In dire circumstances, the enthusiasm and effort of the youngsters have cheered us up. The momentum is there for those travelling away. Would only take some reasonable signings to blend with the best young ones and some positive results to get a bit of momentum for home attendances.

Decision in this. Taking too long to say adjourned.

No cricket so Judge lying down with wet towel on his head to recover, whilst his Juniors write up his decision. Thinking about what's on the dinner menu at his hotel tonight.
  8. In. Young lads deserve it after Saturday.
  9. Not been but in the Meerkat meals offer last time I looked. Must make the trip.

Grim scenario, but where do the Council sit in all this? Do they own the freehold? Are they just going to let developers do what they want on the site? I can't see it. Tories just on the verge of regaining full control of the council, marginal Bolton West seat. I think there are huge risks and a long wait for anyone planning on liquidating the club and applying for planning permission to re-develop the site, and huge political risks for any council that supports it.
  11. Wish him and Turner all the best, but neither made much impact here. We’ve seen the future and he’s 17yrs old and already has one league game under his belt. Pie Eaters take our cast offs - Jussi, Bogdan, Aspinall & Al-habsi
  12. Think now just PNE and Albert Halls. Anyone been to The Northern yet?
  13. Sidney Street where Hampsons used to be (now Pound Bakery?). Loads on Lever Street on the way to Burnden, Little John, Tanners Arms, etc. May still be open but never go down that way now.
  14. Hate this Micky Mouse Cup, but feel compelled to go and support the lads after today's effort.
  15. Expect them to buy in the home sections then.
  16. Use my Saver Seven.

    Tom or Chris surely.
  18. Would love a Clough career resurgence but he has started 19 games in 2.5 yrs since he left, including 2 loan spells at Rochdale where he started 4 games. His last return to the mother ship didn’t go well - 1 “goal” which he put in the net with his arm. In his earlier 48 starts, how many games did he finish? Not sure why people now think he is the man to lead our resurgence plus he’s contracted to Forest until 2021, no doubt on wages far beyond what we could pay.

No idea what/who to believe anymore. But Adam Kameni sold his share of PLT back to his father's Boohoo and is now a full time property developer, including developing Boohoos new Manchester offices and a range of other deals in the UK, US and other countries. I suspect they may be trying to muscle into the deal through the hotel, as our beloved club's future seems to be all about property.
  20. Earl 6 month loan. Weir 1 yr deal

Like Wheater but I'm sure he's had plenty to say about strikes, etc. So maybe a fresh start best for everyone. Both Oldham & Salford a division below us.
