Depends what you're after. Bars that I've enjoyed and don't have loads of chavs in (Brannigans is full of them!) include Living Room, Havana's, Bar Lounge, Room, Watergate's and Oddfellows. If you are planning on going to a club Cruise is the best by far. As for restaurants, again depends what you like but Sergio's, Chez Jules, La Fatorria and Francs. Good night out in Chester but everything is scattered about so not that obvious where to head to - ask for any of the bars above though and you'll be pointed in the right direction!

The French are shite these days. Anyway if we want to do anything in the World Cup we will have to beat the best teams. I don't think I could stomach the press coverage of the loveable Irish rogues and all the plastic, Irish-supporting English people in the pubs - they're no better than Cockney Reds.

On my mam's side of the family there's quite a bit of Catholic Northern Irish - they all support Eire.... I hope they f*cking lose 10-0 in both legs for the simple reason that they absolutely f*cking detest us. Fact. Same goes for the Sweatys and the Leek Munchers. Outside of that I'm pretty indifferent, even with ze Germans. Don't get me wrong I'd prefer they lost but if it came down to it I'd rather ze Germans win than Eire, Scotland or Wales.

Saying someone is better than Jagielka, Upson and Lescott is hardly raving about them. Claiming someone is potentially twice as good as someone who will play for England will ever be is most definitely raving, and yes, slightly mad. Plus, it doesn't matter how he got into the squad - whether other people who were previously ahead of him got injured - he's there now and I don't think Jagielka or King will be replacing him. Given his rapid improvements I can see him ousting Upson as 3rd choice centre half very soon.

He is already better than Upson, both of them, Lescott and Jagielka. Also, given that King's knees appear to made from Dairy Milk I'd say he's better to have than King. Reality checks also apply to rating somebody's potential and to say Rodwell is potentially twice the player Cahill can ever be totally ruins any point you're trying to make.
