Courteeners
When's the single out and when is the album out? The gig on the 11th was class. I was about 10 people from the front, I was f*cked by the time it finished - had to throw my trainers away when I got home

10 Days To Go
Christmas Day is wank. Christmas Eve to New Year's Day (excluding Christmas Day) is the best time of the year - I think....from what I can usually remember anyway. Gets a bit hazy.

That There Big Apple
Went last year with work and had a couple of nights on the piss. One in the Italian quarter, where we happened to stumble across a Floridian bar full of college girls, and one in the Meat Packing District (I think that's what it's called!!) - that was really expensive but one of the best nights I've ever had. Definitely not true about needing to be a celeb to get female attention - you just need an English accent. Not having a face like a bashed crab helps too...

Mayweather V Pacquiao
It's on! 13th March apparently...

I reckon Netherlands, USA and Ivory Coast would be the hardest combination from the remaining pots...

French / Orish "confusion"
Yeah, as the ref was jogging to the halfway line Shearer blocked Jaaskelainen off 2 or 3 times, then when the ref turned round he held his arms up complaining and got the fucking free kick!! And don't forget the Neil Lennon incident!

The World's Gone Mad Part Xxvii
The "We buy any car" ad - I almost perforated my eardrum sticking my fingers in my ears when it came on last night.

Fight Of The Year - Pacquaio V Cotto
Shockingly crude tactics? For someone who obviously knows their boxing I think that's a bit blinkered. I have yet to see a better defensive boxer than Mayweather and in his entire career not a single person has hurt him. Corley did not give him an argument as you say and De la Hoya certainly did not do enough to win that fight - he hardly landed a punch in the second half of the fight! Until Pacquiao beats someone who isn't perfectly suited to his style i.e. has the ability to be a moving target then I still believe Mayweather is the best pound for pound boxer on the planet. It's likely that he will fight Mosley at some point which will settle the argument about him ducking as well. I know it's not the point you were making but as for a match up between Mayweather and Pacquiao I think Marquez is an interesting barometer. The fights with Pacquiao were extremely close with many critics thinking Marquez deserved the nod. Mayweather absolutely embarrassed him, making him look amateur. Yes, he was much bigger - but he will be against Pacquiao. Was it his size and strength that beat Marquez? Not at all, it was his boxing ability - he didn't knock him out, he didn't drain his energy in clinches, he simply outboxed him for 12 rounds. Pacquiao will keep coming forward for 12 rounds and Mayweather will shoulder roll, counterpunch and not get caught - I reckon it will be a comfortable points win for Mayweather. As an aside, as much as I love the guy, I really hope Hatton doesn't fight Marquez. I actually fear for his health, his punch resistance looks to have gone.

Fight Of The Year - Pacquaio V Cotto
I can't wait for this fight to happen! It surely has to given that it's what the world wants to see. I've been proven wrong before with Pacquiao, notably against De la Hoya who I thought would be too big for him. De la Hoya was weight drained in that fight and had absolutely nothing. As impressive as it was to see Pacquiao take him apart, and destroy Hatton, I do think that the Cotto fight was his most impressive. Having said all of that I think the media have gone a tad overboard in their praise for him and I think they undersell the achievements of Mayweather. Both are 5 weight world champions (Pacquiao's claims to 7 weight world champion are largely disregarded as 2 were fringe belts). Mayweather has never been beaten, and never even looked in trouble! The difference this time will be that Mayweather actually moves his head, unlike Cotto and Hatton and is probably one of the greatest defensive boxers of all time. People talk about their respective records as if Pacquiao has fought far superior opponents but that doesn't stand up to scrutiny: Mayweather: Marquez Hatton De la Hoya Carlos Baldomir Zab Judah Sharmba Mitchell Arturo Gatti DeMarcus Corley Castillo (twice) Chavez Diego Corrales Pacquiao: Cotto Hatton De la Hoya Diaz Marquez (won one, drew one) Barrera (twice) Morales (won twice, lost once) Whoever wins can legitimately claim to be up there with the best of all time but for me, I just can't see how Pacquiao can beat Mayweather.

Burnden Was Always Full
I don't go now as I play football at the same time but it was one of the reasons why I stopped going. Other reasons include being able to watch it in the pub and spend my ticket money on beer, not actually enjoying home games (a combination of performance and atmosphere) and simply choosing to go to away matches more than home games. My argument about performances isn't that strong as I genuinely enjoy away games and we usually play shit. I think the last time I saw us win away was Hull last season! I just enjoy the whole experience much more than home games. Wasn't that way when we were at Burnden - although to be fair I only started going regularly in the early 90's so it was relatively good times.

National Anthem
I have no issue with people who feel passionate about the monarchy and love the national anthem, just not for me.

National Anthem
I'm patriotic but the national anthem means nothing to me. Have never sung it and never will, no time for the monarchy.

Foggy Toneet.
Amazingly enough I'm an Audi driver who isn't a hairdresser....you can choose to only have front or rear fog lights on which is good as rear fog lights are lethal, as someone mentioned, you can't see the brake lights!

I Want World Peace
They are seriously rough - I'd be ashamed to wake up next to either of them after a night on the piss
