  1. Listened to it 3 or 4 times now and I'm surprised by the negative reviews so far. I think it's quality and the potential to be a real grower. Sychopant is the stand out track on there for me. Can't make the Blackpool gig but planning on going to Newcastle methinks.
  2. One of my favourite Dylan tracks...
  3. Stayed at the Muse in September '08 (think it's on 46th St - right near Time Square). It was for a conference so I didn't pay but it was a fantastic hotel. Also, spent a night at the Hudson and that was very good - the rooftop terrace was amazing. Only stayed for 3 nights so hoping to go back around September time.
  4. Went in Nov '08 and had absolutely no trouble whatsoever. Lovely place, no more expensive than supping over here and all the locals were really friendly. Went with my Dad's mates who were all around the 50 mark so that may have helped with the relaxed atmosphere - we did get told that stag dos are usually less welcome.
  5. I didn't make it to the end it was that bad...that's what I meant.
  6. Was toss. Didn't laugh once. In fact, it was cringeworthy. Won't be watching again.
  7. Haha, I work in one of the head offices - most of the functions are being moved down to that there London though. Hence my need for a new car (oh, and job!) in July time.
  8. haha, I reckon the 206 was worse than that - i could only just fit in the thing...looked like Donkey Kong on MarioKart!!
  9. Ok, I'll play... First to last... Y reg Peugeot 206 - first car I owned at the age of 21 and had it for about 3 years. Was alright actually, still being driven to this day. T reg BMW 323 Saloon - bought this off my uncle and loved it. It died after 12 months (might have had something to do with my crashing through a wall on Smethurst Lane though!!). 51 reg Renault Megane 1.9dci - had this for about 12 months after the BMW and saved a fortune as I was driving to and from Chester every day - shit car though. 58 reg Audi TT - company car and quite obviously the best I've had!
  10. Great shout! I'll be enjoying plenty of them in May when going over for the Twenty20 World Cup!!
  11. Haha, thanks!! Only 5 months to go.....that doesn't mean I'll no longer be a twat mind...
  12. Thanks, appreciate that. I work for Lloyds Banking Group. I know.....
  13. It pisses me off that this line is always used when arguing that Allardyce's best days are behind him. Yes he was innovatine in recruiting older, so-called mercurial talents and getting them to perform. Critics claim that other clubs can now do this therefore creating a more level playing field and blunting the edge that Allardyce had. Total bollocks. Ok, partial bollocks. There is no way that his success was purely down to recruiting a handful of ageing foreign stars. How did we get to the Prem in the first place? For me, I think a much bigger part was his use of the highly qualified backroom staff and trying to gain an extra percent performance anyway he could. It's no coincidence that the more scientific approach adopted by other clubs has meant that Allardyce is less effective than he was. Or he could just be that his bitterness and not being lauded as the next Ferguson is clouding his ability to manage to his potential!!
  14. What do you do?
  15. Same here, but 5 times a week - not for much longer though!!!
  16. I definitely will be looking at the end of June/beginning of July...
  17. That's the fella - in black preferably!
  18. I have to have diesel in this job as I drive around 90 miles a day. I'm hoping my new role will be 20 miles a day tops so could definitely afford a petrol. Having said that the current favourite is the BMW 320d cab. Big fan of the hard top roof. That or something ridiculous like an Exige, but I'm struggling to find anyone who leases them.
  19. Haha, what have you got - car I mean! I'm taking voluntary redundancy in the summer so will have to send the car back - looking into leasing one and opting out of any company car scheme in a new role (just because of the lack of manufacturers you can usually choose from). Not sure what to get...
  20. Diesel TT - really light so it's quite quick, 170bhp too. If I drive it at 70mph I get around 600miles on a full tank. If I drive a little faster it goes down to about 500-520
  21. 50mpg and 0-60 in 7.5 secs for me - happy days!
  22. Spot on. I've got a 13 week old Staff and he's perfectly fine. Had 2 before and had no problems whatsoever. Sad that they are labelled as bad dogs due to the nature of a lot of their owners.
  23. No mate, he has nothing to do with the band - just mates with them. I don't much more than that as I've never gone along with him
  24. One of my mates is good friends with them, goes on the tour bus with them a lot - I'm not a huge fan of them live though. Good in a really small venue mind, just don't think they'll ever really progress from there.
