My iPod connector is built-in in my car, so a cd player would have been tiresome anyway - but nothing at all just takes the piss

Scratch Damage On A Car...
No wanking frenzies, eyelash in eye, or drunken shenanigans are responsible for seeing a scratch on the car - but thanks for your suggestions!! My courtesy car doesn't even have a cd player - it's a 57 plate, I didn't think that was possible!?!?

Scratch Damage On A Car...
My car was scratched at the weekend and is being taken to the garage tonight. Does anyone have any idea of roughly how long these things take to get done? The scratch doesn't appear to be too deep but it is across the door and the side panel.

Was a great day that! Been watching Dale a few times this season and enjoyed it, but that was particularly good!! Shame about the result.

Comic Fcuking Relief
I do appreciate what I have, and I know I'm lucky. It's the contrived nature of Comic Relief that fcuks me off. People in work today, in a large majority, couldn't give less of a fcuk about Africa and other worthwhile causes - they see it as a chance to piss about in work for a bit and have a laugh. I have charities that I feel close to and I actively raise money for them. Over the last couple of years I've raised over ?10k for 2 different charities. So charity itself isn't the issue. The irony of people thinking you're a tight bastard for not getting involved in Comic Relief. Brilliant.

Comic Fcuking Relief
Is it just me who cannot abide this shite? We've had all kinds of wanky charity auctions throughout the week at work. Tomorrow will see a whole host of contrived 'whacky' events. Then that is followed up by a load of shite on TV. Celebrities jumping on the bandwagon for a bit of free publicity in the name of charity. Tw*ts like Lenny Henry - if he was funny he would be on TV on alot more frequently. He isn't on for a fcuking reason. The emotional blackmail clips of starving kids - must just have an annual famine across Africa, you never hear about it otherwise. Don't get me started on the multi-millionaire tax exiles like Bono and Geldof. In fairness, Geldof may not be a tax exile - but he's a cnut nonetheless. If I want to give to charity I will, I don't need to be coerced and made to feel like a miserable tw*t if I don't follow the sheep and wear a cunting red nose. Oh, and I'm having a bad day

The Credit Crunch
Miller Homes do a scheme just like that. You pay 75% of the list price i.e. no deposit necessary. After 10 years you have to pay the 25% back. You can do this by paying them the original 25% before the 10 years is due, sell the property and give them 25% of the proceeds, or if the market has picked up sufficiently by then you can remortgage before th 10 years is up and pay them the original 25% back. You don't pay interest or any monthly rent on the 25% either. The scheme is called MiWay.

Michael Jennings
I can't see anything other than a pasting for Jennings. A good fighter but not genuinely world class. Cotto, until the defeat by Margarito, was in the top 5 pound-for-pound fighters in the world. Margarito's banning does beg the question as to whether he used loaded gloves against Cotto. That was a surprising result at the time. Always interesting to see how a boxer comes back after a shock defeat, especially one as highly rated as Cotto. I agree with whoever said that Jennings is being lined up as the sacrificial lamb. The slight hope for him is that Cotto has had his confidence destroyed a la Jeff Lacy.

Will Someone Please Explain
I'd be amazed if there were any shenanigans to report - it was dead in there when we got in.

Will Someone Please Explain
I thought I was seeing things - I'd be out since about 1pm so it's possible. Was a bizarre couple of pints in there on Sat.

Bullard
Yep, you're right - 2 myself. However, they are not saying it isn't ACL by saying he's going for an arthoscopy. They often do that to assess the magnitude of damage. When I had my first one done they did an arthroscopy and discovered that I'd done my ACL, PCL and ruptured my cartilage. All in all, he could well be out for a long time. I hope he isn't, nothing against him and it's a grim injury to come back from.

Celtic Vgers
Totally agree. I was at the memorial service at Hartshead Moor last week - can't imagine a passerby wearing a Celtic shirt would have been too welcome. As for the match, I couldn't give a flying fcuk.
