Not sure - but I got a new build. I knew that their year end was approaching so was cheeky. They've stopped building on that site so it was pretty obvious they were cash hungry. I have no intention of moving for at least 5-7 years so happy days!

If you're a FTB at the moment (and have a deposit) the housing market has never looked so good. Just snapped up a real bargain - 40% cheaper than it was this time last year.

I know someone (genuinely isn't me!!) who ordered Automatic Duck at the Chinese. Did a good one in Edinburgh a few weeks back on a mates stag do. Was the worse for wear in a proper hovel (3 of us had got split up from the rest of the group and like idiots asked a taxi driver to take us to 'a good boozer' - he took us to a pub where the chances of being stabbed are 95%!) and ended up chatting to 2 local birds. At this point I realised I'd lost my phone. Looked down at the bar and one of the birds is holding my phone! Happy days, I grab the phone and call her a thieving Jock bitch (as you do). She was having none of this and clamped her teeth onto my hand. Being leathered I was quite happy to wait for her to get bored as I was refusing to let her have my phone. I gave in just as she was drawing blood and at the exact same time she was screaming "Is that your f*cking dog?" about the screensaver my brother walked in and gave me my phone back after borrowing it to ring his missus. That was embarrassing.

Another good one is the gold away top - sponsored by Reebok but made by Matchwinner (91/92 or 92/93 I think).

I can't imagine that there is any intention of him competing for a 1st team place for a couple of years yet.

I've seen him a few times and he does have a bit of potential. He seems fairly skillful and has a bit of pace. Didn't have a lot of end product when I watched him and he was the player who the fans were having a go at when Keith Hill snapped and had a go back at the fans. In fairness to him, I think he's 18 so plenty of time to develop. The rumour is that we will loan him back to Dale for the rest of the season.

People taking this seriously? Diouf has ability but is totally ineffective for the majority of a season. Think someone already pointed out that Taylor has been considerably more effective already. And that's before we talk about the morale impact - didn't he piss off all the other players by declaring his intention to leave before the end of the season? Fcuk him. Not being a regular at Sunderland proves his true ability.

I think the rest of the players will be mightily relieved when Taylor does retire. I'm buying a dart board for my new house - I predict I'll win my first PDC title in 2014, with a 125 3-dart average.

Yeah, can't see that happening again for a while. I wonder how long Taylor will carry on for?

Went on Sunday to the final - what an evening! The atmosphere at Ally Pally was electric, I was looking forward to it but didn't realise it was going to be that good. Taylor is unbelievable and playing like that there is nobody who could, or will, ever beat him. Turning point was when Taylor was 3-1 up and went down 2-0 in legs. He broke Barneveld's throw twice to win 3-2 and go 4-1 up. Game over from that point. I think the official 3 dart average was over 110 - amazing. I heard somewhere that a 3 dart average of around 95 used to win the world title. Oh, and for some reason Wade and Nicholson came over as proper arrogant tw*ts during this tournament.

Maybe it's European birds then....and South American.....and Central American......
