Going back to an earlier point..
Coyle did inherit some cracking players, and even though Megson wasn't the Happy Chappy manager we needed, we can't fault his buys (although I'm sure somebody will now).
People were saying they were happy with Coyles Signings over the summer, I wasn't and tbh felt then that we had a weaker squad.
Something is deffo wrong with Coyles' plans. Our defence is pretty much what it was last season and the season before.. I.e. Knight, Cahill & Robinson, however they don't play as a team now, and that's the managers role above all else.. 2 England Internationals and an ex England U21 player..
It boils down to one of three things..
Either..
a) Coyle doesn't give a shit, for some unknown reason, Gartside won't stop in the give some "constructive" critisism
the players just don't care, which I doubt as they all have something to loose if we go down.
c) Coyle is out of his depth as a manager. He inherited a good team which he is now phasing out, and trying to replace with a Team he trusts.
On the last point, try not to forget that Megson suffered from a barage of dressing room politics, There's been quite a few hints from players that its them that's causing the problems. I wonder if Coyles tried to break it up by bringing in more players as cheap as possible to break this up.
