I've been doing the same. If we finish 3rd theres a good chance of a trip to Madrid, as Atletico and Getafe are both well placed to top their respective groups. Others which would be good for me are Hamburg (could drive there) Bordeaux or Fiorentina.

Only the FA can spend hundreds of millions on a stadium, and get the pitch from Dobbies Garden Centre. We deserved nothing but it reminded me of the Zenit game, when we were unable to play our 'high intensity' football, on a soggy pitch, and they out passed us.

That was my first ever game. However as I was 7 i was sat on the fence at the front of the Burnden Paddock, more interested in my bag of cola cubes than the match or the mayhem behind me.

They could give 'em all the South Stand but there'd still be plenty in our end. I was in the West Upper for the Everton game and one scouser to my right was having a fit (he had plenty of room to do so) when Lescott scored, and the stewards just looked on. Sadly we have now become one of those little family clubs where you can go in their end and take the p1ss. It wouldn't have happened int Manny Road or Burnden Terrace.

Yes but no other industry now relies so little on it's customers. The huge influx of Sky cash makes it laughable to expect people to pay ?29 to see Middlesbrough on a cold Sunday afternoon. Gate money is virtually irrelevant, but running out to an empty stadium must be de-motivating to a player. I'd say season tickets should be ?200 including all cup games, and ?15/?10 on the day depending on the opposition. BWFC will prosper, not suffer, they just need to wake up.
