Well that was an absolute fantastic performance today. I have taken a few hours to recover but extremely proud of all of them today. Great to see a Wanderers team grab hold of a game and absolutely boss it. Evert has been brilliant second half of the season. Just shows you need to give managers time. Coywm.

Funny I must be mellowing in my old age. Kick in the balls yes. But I think we have a top manager who will deliver for us? Second half of the season has been fantastic. We have decent team again. Waiting for Fa to confirm. Daughter played today though against Wigan. They will not be able to play this month as facilities will have to close. A shame as they have all just started getting back into it. Apart from some players having to isolate. All kids will miss it for sure. Proper crap for them at moment.

I remember when young Jussi was worst keeper we have ever had after Crewe game at home. Give the lad a chance. The manager is asking him to play sweeper keeper which probably is not his usual game. I agree though that we should of signed Mathews up but we didn’t. Hopefully he will gain a bit of confidence and be England’s number 1 by end of season.

Is it me but 500k for a chippy seems a lot? Not seen it but must be some big building? You would have to sell a lot of chips to make money. Do well to sell it in these times. Karma is a wonderful thing.

Keeping training is very poor with a lot of clubs. My daughter who is a keeper plays u15 but is 13. Last season at 12 years old she was expected to keep in full size men’s nets on full pitch. No training in doing this. In Her league are many academy teams, which For me should stick to playing there own standard. All the other parents were happy about the size of goal as there children have more chance to score. Totally sole destroying for the keepers though. Gone from being very comfortable in 9 aside goals to not being able to touch the cross bar. Having to judge a bow which seems twice as big. Like all parents, I just want her to enjoy her football.

Oldham at home in fa cup,as I was a young lad.Tranmere in playoffs hurt like hell. United thumping us at Burden was bad. Like others have said Boro at Cardiff as thought it was our time. Villa semi and then being down to ten men , I could not see us losing. But worst must be stoke at Wembley. Seeing us totally outclassed by them was shocking.

A gang of around 10 of us booked apartments along the food alley Street. Was a brilliant weekend upto the football. After game under our apartment boro fans were eating food on a wall. We decided to fill a bin full of water and drench them. As we filled the bin to the top we struggled to pick it up. As we poured it we dropped the full bin which was 3 floors up. I honestly thought we had killed somebody. Our apartment got bricked for about half an hour as there was a building site opposite. We had to open all the windows. We left very early the next day. Dave’s fault if he reads this.

He was never saving that. Easy goal keeping when you are sat in the stand. Thought Mathews was very good today apart from minor mistake in dwelling on ball.

Lads with their mates supporting their local team. Days we have all done and still remember. Good on them 👍

Surely after seeing Bury thrown out of the league, everyone will want the deal done today. Hopefully our nightmare could be over and we can all put this behind us. FV have some very wealthy people behind them and MJ has our best interest at heart. Please god let this be a new dawn today. Feel for all the Bury fans. Some very good people at the club. Will miss our rivalry. I hope someway Bury will come up the leagues. Be very interested if Dale is allowed to sell ground for millions now. Utter madness.

Hopefully we will get put out of our misery today and be a great start to the weekend. Like all though I’m very sceptical? We have been here many times before? This weekend, all I am bothered about is enjoying that performance. As a fan I want a team committed to playing for the Bolton badge and they did that by the bucketful. I’m not interested in people who did not turn up or players who did not play. It was their loss. People who was there had a day they will never forget. One of my favourite ever game. Up there with united away, Munich, Hull away etc. We will forget the players who could not be arsed but we will remember the commitment of the young Bolton team forever. Like other posters have said, some decent older pro’s added to that team we will head in the right direction. COYWM

Had that my throat is going to explode feeling that u usually get at funerals, when the players did there lad of honour. I could of easily bawled my eyes out. So proud of them all today. It felt like the players were my children. Magnificent and I hope he keeps as many as possible in for next game. One of my favourite games ever at uni.
