Me to. He was decent at beginning of season but he’s going through a bad spell with rest of team. He can turn it around. Let’s hope Dapo, MJ, John, Baka, Johnston, Aimson and Delf improve to, as they have equally been as bad over this bad patch. In Evert we trust and he will get us playing again. Hopefully new additions will kick start second half of season for us.

All keepers fault? Nothing to do with us not being able to score. If we go one or two up every know and again, there be less pressure on keeper. Also defence has a lot to answer for. John completely out of form and not having a recognised right back for months has put team up against it. Dixon hopefully can turn this around. But he’s not on his own.

Hard for Accrington as they are right in middle of Burnley and Blackburn. A lot of fans watch Accrington when Prem team is away. Training facilities are not as bad as you think. They have just spent 1.5mill on the hub. Which is used for community teams, kids, u18, girls and women’s team. Fantastic facilities with top coaches. Ever Accy team are well drilled, play same style and are extremely fit. They attract young talented players because the standards required are so high. Accrington are a great example of how to run a small football club. Like other say competing in a league like this is fantastic for them. It’s not by luck though. Lots of hard work in the background.

Must of mist all the abuse to players today? I was in seating about halfway line and thought the fans where fantastic? People stood in isles and made it feel like a mini terrace? Thought fans really got behind team and were a credit to the club? Dapo abuse? We’re have people got that from. People frustrated yes but can you blame them? A top turn out for me and players should of feed on that. Last season we were fittest team in league. This season we have no intensity? Let teams play. Attack teams to slowly? Play from back and midfield don’t move so constantly goes back to keeper? Top day out though spoiled by the football. We should be used to that though.

Given up today. Tried to buy myself and daughter who are both season tickets holders, tickets today but can’t assign my daughter a ticket as both season tickets are in my name? Tried phone ticket office 10 times but will not answer. Did not think we back for match, as she’s been playing but rushed back and thought it be easy enough to get a couple of tickets . First time all season we lost the midfield battles. We looked a yard of pace. No speed about our play. Brocky got murdered but to be fair to lad, no support off Baka. Lad was obviously struggling yet we tried to keep playing down his side? Baka/ Dapo kept giving ball away leaving us sitting ducks for counter attack. Really poor day at the office. What I don’t get is people asking us to change our style of football? That’s what has got us promoted and this season, we have more than competed? Perhaps Wigan is only team to look better.? Everts building a culture/ brand of football which in time with better players will serve us well. We have all loved watching it. Let’s not let one bad game of football cloud any judgement. Yes absolutely gutted about yesterday but look where we we come from in past few seasons. Pushing for playoffs in a league we just been promoted in? Only 3 points lost yesterday. COYWM

Nevilles both played for Bury boys to. Bury is part of their family history and like other post, it’s strange that they chose Salford over Bury? But to be fair it was not their mess to sort out. Nobody thought Bury would go out of business. Growing up as a kid, I used to love the rivalry with Bury. Going to school with many of there fans was great. They absolutely hated us with a passion. Remember beating them 1-0 at Burnden in playoffs. Their fans were distraught. Plus if they had any decent players, we always bought them. I would love to see Bury back in business. Had some fantastic nights watching the whites at Gigg Lane. Even though we struggled to get at times.

My daughter is a keeper and plays at a very high standard. She’s been a keeper for several years and I totally agree about the training. We had to find a keeping coach outside of her club, where she could train with boys. Big problem for me is the size of goals. No 12 year old girl should ever keep in full size men’s nets. They are pissing in the wind. Even now a few year later she still struggles. This puts many decent keepers off. Think though girls football has changed massively over last 5 years. Incomparable from years gone by. Players are athletes now, not like in my day. They train many hours a week. Many of the decent girls, play Saturday for boys teams. Recently watch a under 9 girls team batter u9 boys team. Again in my day this would never of happened. Some of the football these top girls team play now it frightening. Especially when your daughter is in goal at the other end.

Santos was out on his feet after 70mins. Last 10 he was struggling to even track back. Once team gets full fit we will be ok. To be fair their subs worked for them. That save at 3-1 has been massive for them. Very positive though going forward. We are going to compete well in this league. Onwards and upwards.
