  1. Awful news Sincere condolences to CSWs family and friends.
  2. We stayed in Rejkyavik and hired a car to go approx a third of the way around the southern end, to visit 'Diamond' beach. The diamonds are bits of broken-off glacier, there's also a lagoon there with iceburgs. The landscapes are stunning and there's a couple of decent stop-offs en route to view massive waterfalls, one of which you can walk under. Watch out for the speed cameras though, I got caught on the way back, about £250 - ouch!
  3. Senegal were 4/1 at half-time to win.
  4. Let's hope that trend continues into next season for us then 😉
  5. Aye, it was a good effort though
  6. 11 overs left, 2 wickets required. Come on Lancs
  7. Mr Peevly from the Hair Bear Bunch?
  8. Someone is clearly making an effort today. Just landed at Barton.
  9. No mate, as it was classed 'Yorkshire' fish and chips. I avoid anything to do with Yerkshire. We went over to China and had orange chicken with rice and a Mongolian beef noodle combo, very good it was too.
  10. Haha, went in that pub yesterday. I made a swift exit as all they had on was warm Watney's Red Barrel.
  11. Snap,we're at Volcano Bay
  12. How apt that this person is a member - Jo King JP
  13. Got corralled there from the pub and missed McGinley scoring the pen, a few years ago now. 'I'm Sparticus,' - those that were there will know.
  14. 'Preston die,Bolton Wankers' was an inscription on one of the railway bridges on the last few miles to the turd-laden hellhole.
  15. The manager's job at Wigan is a tough gig to be honest, but that's taking the problem too far.
  16. £10 sent, Swansea and Aberdeen please
  17. Bat Out Of Hell at the Palace last night. The story was thin, but the songs were good and the cast very talented, not bad for £15 each.
  18. 'Is there something specific about AI development or future capabilities' it asks, - Yes, learn the correct spelling of humour ffs.
  19. I'm in Madrid atm - thinly veiled - and kept losing my connection to the BBC web page. It was fkin agony from my pov.
  20. I'm surprised he didn't get a frostie reception.
  21. To be fair to the lad, he did get the crowd going. I hope you joined in.
  22. Of all 1250 seats last night, mine had to be the one behind the drummer boy. He didn't stop all game and gave it some hammer as my yedwarch can testify this morning.
  23. Did anyone see the reaction from their manager and coaching staff as they walked off the pitch at the end of the game? They were getting massive pelters from the WSL - 'Pit of Hate' proportions - and were threatening to take their coats off, in a comic fashion, as if to say 'farkin, come on then.' Priceless.
