Embarrassing Moments In Restaurants.
Not embarrassing as such, but I took the missus out for a meal on Saturday and, as we were waiting for the bill all the restaurant staff suddenly left the restaurant and stood outside having their 'photo taken with this tall, skinny gyppo. He had been pushing his youngest around this restaurant while the rest of his brood and his (very pretty) wife ate. I asked the guy on the next table what was going on and he said "it's Robin van Persie". Didn't recognise him.

Embarrassing Moments In Restaurants.
Entertaining a client once I took them to lunch. Once we finished eating and were getting ready to leave I decided to go for a pee. I was wearing a light brown wool suit and, as I went to wash my hands and turned on the tap, the water belted out and soaked the front of my trousers. I had to walk sideways out of the restaurant to hide the resulting wet patch.

Embarrassing Moments In Restaurants.
In a restaurant in France afew years ago my 2 year old daughter dropped Chocolate Ice Cream into her lap which, when we lifted her out of her chair to clean her up, looked suspiciously like she'd shat herself. Badly. Cue customers heaving at the sight of me cleaning her up and me pretending to lick my fingers.

Fundraising - Any More For Any More?
I am raising money for two charities by running the London Marathon this year. The charities are Great Ormond Street Hospital and Breakthrough Breast Cancer It is the one and only time I will do a marathon and so I am looking to raise the maximum amount for these two organisations. They are very personal to me as, firstly, my son was treated for a Congenital Heart defect at Great Ormond Street. Unfortunately he died during his second lot of surgery just before his third birthday. Secondly, my Mum is currently undergoing chemotherapy following surgery, as she was diagnosed with Breast Cancer just before Christmas. The links are below: http://www.justgiving.com/Martin-Cullen http://www.justgiving.com/Martin-Cullen1 I would ask that people who want to, should donate to one or the other depending on which they sympathise most with. Or they could split the money over both As I say, this is the one and only time I will do this, so make no excuses for asking you to support these worthy causes. Can this be pinned please? Thanks

Run In
I did that BBC predictor thingy. We got 43 points. 13th place. Liverpool miss out on Europe on goal difference to Tottenham. Portsmouth, Burnley and Hull down on final day.

Pompey
Whatever way it's meant, it's bollocks. His thanks will be in the taxes he pays and the contribution he makes to society. But for a seriously ill one year old boy to reach his second, third and subsequent birthdays is thanks enough to me.

''Well his son once had quite a big debt to the taxpayer'' Apologies if I'm being thick, but doesn't this intimate that somehow Gary Lineker's son OWES the taxpayer for his treatment? I don't give a toss about Portsmouth and their spectacular collapse but this sort of attitude dissipates rapidly when it's closer to home.

And that's the boy Lineker's fault how, exactly?

I still don't understand what his son being treated for Leukaemia has to do with him owing a debt to society? Or how it relates to Portsmouth. I pay my N.I. to fund Health Service treatment for just such occasions. I would expect that if my child ever suffered something life-threatening like this the same support would be available for them. I don't expect any gratitude from young Lineker, I'm just glad the system was there to help.
