  2. Blue whales live for 80-90 years, with a heart rate between 2 and 37 bpm. Laid back fuckers.
  3. Do you reckon a ram would be interested in rodgering a human? Or a bull etc... Think I'd rather have death. So long as it's not death by beastiality.
  4. If you could get aroused to shag a farm animal, then you've got beastality leanings.
  5. I don't agree, but each to their own. He's old fashioned and maybe out of touch in some ways. Also very well educated, and an excellent orator and parliamentarian. Wouldn't want him as a PM, but he undertakes his role calmly, politely and effectively. A small band of similar old guard remain in the house, many of whom are out of touch in some regards, but offer so much in other ways which their peers could learn from.
  6. If its the ambassador, he's been doing the rounds for a few days now. Comes across really well. One thing Putin would have to factor in, is the "fight until the death" attitude that the Ukrainian people would have. As opposed to the less spirited approach of the Russians- often young and a long way from home and perhaps little motivation for a conflict that may seem unnecessary.
  7. Borehamwood and Chesterfield will pass them. Games in hand. Sarc must be due a hammy soon
  8. Blow jobs help apparently- how is your neighbour, still looking good...
  9. I read something the other day about some concept/proposed electric merc that will do 600 miles on a charge. The advances in lithium/sulphur battery technology, and investment in plants the world over is very promising for improved range and costs in the future.
  10. No shit! You didn't have to get it to belive it. You've had a bout of a nasty virus and any such infection can leave you fucked for a good while.
  11. This. Total and absolute. Not really anything to do with politics, just folk wanting a world to live in, but not being prepared to do their bit. Just leave it for some other generation, when it's even more costly and expedient. Unfortunately, the protestors convoy in Bury arrived as I picked the lad up from college. A queue of taxi drivers to my right beeping their horns and coppers everywhere. I silently glided past the cunts giving them the vs as I did so. They'd fucked up a days educating with kids and teachers unable to get in because of tailbacks.
  12. Chicken and turkey are the cheapest ones depending upon brand. The raw pet food shop has its own label which are cheaper than brands, and are the same price I think. Albion and other brand at All breeds on Tonge Moor Road have a range of prices according to product. "Game" ones like wild boar and venison are more expensive though not hugely. We get quite a bit of stuff with tripe and some hearts too. Plenty of fish as well.
  13. No, not sent anything. The first I knew about it was when Bolton Diver highlighted it on here a couple of years or so ago. Since then it has become more widely known. We've discussed it on here on more than one occasion- probably on an environment/global warming thread.
  14. Get frozen pet mince or chunks from a pet shop. Used in the barf diet. Lots of places doing it now- I used to go to widnes and buy in bulk, but now use All breeds or the new one round the corner (they have another shop too on COR)
  15. I'm a sole trader, and had to make the decision to purchase a replacement vehicle. The alternative was to pay the daily charge, which is dead money. I researched long and hard, and had to fund the thing from mortgage overpayment reserve. Given the lead times for a vehicle I had to order it in the summer to be sure it was here before May 22. (In the end smaller vehicles were given an extra year until 23) Frankly, I don't have any sympathy for businesses that have chosen to stick their head in the sand and ignore it. Good sized grants available for some vehicles and it needn't mean buying a new one neither. As it affects everyone, there is no competitive advantage, and prices could be raised a little to recoup the outlay. I'll be doing just this.
  16. The charges on smaller vehicles have been suspended. Not because of availability of vehicles, but because of protests. The compliant vehicles don't have to be electric neither, and companies have had plenty of notice. Whether they have prepared well enough is another matter.
  17. The Bury mp is wrong in my opinion. His party and those before have pushed the UK towards a much lower carbon future. Quite rightly so. Clean air zones are a part of that drive, and important to meet future obligations. If he was so opposed, then why wait until now? Given Putin's antics it's all the more important that reliance on fossil fuels is diminished. As I said before; the set up has issues, but the principle is fine.
  18. Nothing wrong with the principle of the clean air zone. Whether or not it's proposed set up is ideal is open to debate. Giving way to a bunch of protestors who are too ignorant to understand the underlying reasons behind it, or too selfish to contribute their bit to the environmental improvement, is a huge mistake. Burnham reportedly has aims to be Labour leader one day- having no backbone and crumbling so easily will have union leaders pissing themselves in anticipation. Grow a pair.
  19. So far, despite the various measures available, not too many have been sanctioned. Be interesting to see if this number increases soon. As was mentioned in parliament, its important to use measures that will affect those close to Putin. No point doing things to his enemies or those with little influence.
  20. Once governments start seizing Russian assets the oligarchs will think twice. Discussions ongoing to stop Russian access to the Swiss banking system amongst other things. Russian currency strength dropping, the economy not great and covid struggles still ongoing. Putin isn't in the best position to start a fight neither.
