Them rings on the discs are caused by the XBOX being moved when its in use. Make sure you put it somewhere on a solid base. The Console is also prone to not reading disks after a couple of years which starts with the odd game then gets worse and worse til it stops completely but if yours is new then that won't apply (yet) You`re welcome

i`ve took the plunge on a couple of PC`s now. I`m getting used to it but only by ignoring the new display and defaulting back to the desktop to do stuff any opinions or tips anyone?

Anyone done this and how much did you pay for the Kit? I`ve got Sky+ (not HD) It sounds like the cheaper units suffer loss of picture quality I also read that you can add some gadget that means you can turn over the channel without having to go into the room where the box is. Is that something separate or all part of one thing? chz

i don`t think you can do that easily/quickly? the upload/download speeds are not great AFAIK. you wouldn`t want to be passing the files up and down between devices on a daily basis anyway. i think what you`re getting at is you want to access them without an internet connection? or at least select some and then access them without an internet connection? you may be able to have a sync copy of all your files on a linked device (local stored) but without a lot of pissing about i think its all or nothing please feel free to tell me i`m talking shit folks but thats as i understand it

i`m thinking within the rules drawn up for this lay betting scheme yesterday in the 1.20 at doncaster there was a 4/11 favourite in an 11 horse race and it won. thats short odds for a big field i wondered how many odds on horses in a field of say 6 horses or more actually fail to win. it needs to be like 1 in 3 to make it worthwhile to bother with them i guess?

seems like this is the new money making scam for cheap n cheerful car hire companies! hired a car just before christmas. used it for a day and dropped it off at Mcr Airport next news theres a £300 `damage` charge on my credit card. they say 3 of the alloy wheels have been scuffed around the outside edge. 1. load of bollocks because it was driven for 200 miles in a straight line then parked 2. how can you scuff the inside edge of 3 wheels on 2 sides of a car at the same time i checked the car before and after i dropped it. they`ve sent pictures as proof but its so minor that i wouldn`t have noticed it and even if i had i wouldn`t have thought anything of it. any legal bods out there know what the correct procedure is to contest it? i`ll start with trying a credit card charge back i guess
