  1. having popped to the loo and accidentally stumbled into 5th place in the league on the way out with 1 game to go. bit of a shit argument. phil neal is the worst manager ever because even though he got us promoted he nearly didn`t and he did it in a shit fashion. ok
  2. now whos making stuff up
  3. and brown, seagraves, reeves, philiskirk, stubbs, green, cowdrill. All great players at that leve; plus a trip to wembley for the sherpa van plus that epic cup match v swindon, longest cup match in history. difficult to see how this all happened under the worst manager ever? check it http://www.swindon-t...?ID=bFhFzKVHG0w
  4. you never know, he could turn out to be a world beater. always struck me as a pretty decent geezer, doesn`t dress stuff up. its been said before but i remember allardyce getting a very luke warm reception on his first game maybe jimmy pipp is the man
  5. I agree with that. If you judge sucess v failure on league position then its difficult to understand Phil Neal as a choice as worst ever. Likewise on that basis its hard to criticise Gary Megson but difficult to defend Owen Coyle (which I was doing). Check the wikipedia win stats for our Managers thru history. Why would anyone think Sammy Lee is worth another shot at Manager?
  6. stan anderson by a country mile for anyone old enough to remember. he made sourness look like a mild mannered janitor
  7. i`m not seeing anything here that says outstanding. . My point was he wasn`t our worst and wasn`t our best. I didn`t rate him, he was earning a lot of money, he thought he was better than he was and we didn`t/don`t need him. Thats pretty factual and not worthy of petty insults Opta stats for 2010/11. The only facts here are he didn`t stand out at all but then again I`m sure plenty will say it was all the fault of the shite around him but Holden seemed to manage to play with all the rest of the shite just fine. Disclaimer: -No stats for Mark Davies and some stats are Championship but theres nowt else to use edit:- bollocks! can`t paste a table and can`t upload documents! Last season stats as an example NRC 3 goals, 0 assists, 6 shots on target, 51 fouls committed, 31 fouls suffered Andrews 11 goals 1 assist 25 shots on target 41 fouls committed 26 fouls suffered
  8. have you ever considered the concept of oher peoples opinions? he was overpaid shite with a high opinion of himself is MYopinion. lets compare him to Holden. Popular opinion is we fell apart when Holden got injured. Is NRC at the same level as Holden? cos he sure as fuck didn`t help us stay up did he? edit: would also say that the fact NOBODY wanted to sign him is a good indicator that us plantpots have a case. can you offer anything other than opinion to support the case of how good he was? like results for example? Oh wait....
  9. 10/10 for effort 0/10 for attainment he couldn`t pass for toffee, his tackling wasn`t the best, he isn`t very fast and doesn`t even particularly have good stamina. as stated previously, stats don`t lie, he`s achieved fuck all to date. we`v had worse but we`ve had far better. i`m in the don`t rate him at all bracket. lets see if Ipswich rocket up the table now he`s arrived. I`m thinking they won`t and he`ll be on his way by the end of January
  10. he`s a fucking headcase. no thanks. evolution not revolution the last thing we need is some nutter coming in and doing what sammy lee tried to do. ie. change the entire squad in 3 months.
  11. I`m not sure, before he signed Carroll he didn`t really have a Davies style player in his team did he? We all know Vaz Te struggles to stand up when theres a stiff breeze and Coles not really a target man is he? I would say we are currently in the position we were in when allardyce first arrived. ie. bollocks to performances, we just need to get out of this league which ironically was what everyone became so unhappy about which led to the slide we have suffered which culminates in this scenario. touch of irony in it all?!
  12. well the West Ham board aren`t overjoyed with him and they have refused to extend his contract. There was a rumour a few weeks ago that they will dispense with his services at the end of the season as he doesn`t play `nice football` like what all them luvies at the Park like to watch. They don`t pay money to watch northern cloggers sticking it up `em every week apparently
  13. coyle had little option to be fair, wheater out long term made the decision for him. even knights fiercest critics must have thought he could manage at championship level considering his pedigree bit harsh to pick holes in megsons track record of signings methinks. even taggart gets it wrong as often as he gets it right
  14. are you going to start a new `everybodys shit` thread every day? booooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooring you got your wish, we`re where you wanted us to be so ease off the negativity eh? or post a ranting reply threatening to banjo everyone. laters
  15. that works, he can be ginger mourinho for two months then an absolute grade A twat for as long as it takes the neanderthols to run him out of town
  16. not everybody was calling him a cunt. its a nice touch to make a thread to wish him good luck. i certainly wish him good luck, the margins between success and failure are very fine. its all ifs and ands but it could have gone differently this season, i can think of many individual errors by players that have cost us points, not to mention the injury nightmare he has suffered which have all ultimately cost him his job. shame some people can`t just let it be and wish him all the best. he tried his guts out for us. maybe he wasn`t up to the job, maybe he was unlucky, whatever your opinion, he was a decent bloke
  17. Definitely feel gutted for him. i know the majority wanted him out and you might be right but even though we were losing I thought he was at least trying to play the right way. The games were entertaining, better than the boring shite we`ve watched in recent history. Be careful what you wish for people. It`s a sad day really regardless of your opinion. Taken from the oatcake forum... So they swapped Gray Megson because the football was dour. They employed Owen Coyle who stylishly achieved relegation within two years. Now they are going to get Mick McCarthy in who is perhaps more in the mould of Megson than Coyle ...I'm not surprised they're called the Wanderers, they have no idea which direction they want to go in. 18. Crown Plaza in Kensington is really nice. Its located about 1/2 mile from the Royal Albert Hall, 100 yds from Gloucester Road Tube Station, theres a Sainsburys Express and an indoor food court right opposite. Cracking couple of boozers very close that do good home cooked food
  19. hes not pulling any punches there! quite different to gordon `brown nose, shithouse` sharrocks http://www.theboltonnews.co.uk/sport/9971092.MATCH_VERDICT__Millwall_2_Wanderers_1/
  20. is shouting at people the way to get the best out of them? i dont remember it being too effective when stan anderson tried it every week for his entire (short) BWFC Managerial career
  21. what times the stoning? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SYkbqzWVHZI
  22. you know i took my kids swimming last month, i got into the changing rooms and there were a couple of young black lads making a mess of the changing rooms. i gave em a bit of a rollickin` then i went out to the pool and said to the attendant, `you might want to nip in there pal, theres some kids smashing the lockers up.` he said to me, i dont want to be racist mate, but were they two black lads?` how the fuck is that racist? yes they were two black lads is the answer. that isnt racist, its describing them. people are terrified of saying the wrong thing. thats what people mean when they talk about the pc crowd. like when alan hanson refered to someone as coloured which is not pc because it is non-specific and regarded as a derogatory term. some (not on here) were making a right stink about it, calling him ignorant, demanding he was sacked meanwhile rio ferdinand calls ashley cole a choc ice on a world wide scale and.......we all know the rest. some of the comments on here are cringeworthy, the particular offence in question is an embaressment to Millwall but there are grey areas either side of racist bigot and friends of the world as far as posters on this site go. it stinks of `that piece of halibut was good enough for jehova` to me. thas all, just sayin like.
  23. theres a familiar ring to this thread...can you point to the bit where i said that made it ok because i didnt say that did I. I was merely observing that he didn`t say anything at the time, he chose to share it on twitter rather than make a complaint which as I said is `a sign of the times` as in he`s a youg lad who pours his head out onto a social networking site. it had fuck all to do with whether it was right or wrong. clearly it is wrong to shout things like that and it is totally unacceptable. is that ok for you?
  24. Why did he not report it to the Police at the time? The person in question would have been arrested. It's a sign of the times that he rushed to get his phone so he could stick it on Twitter
  25. meanwhile over at wigan.....another fantastic save from ali al habsi....... sounds like we are very very very lucky to be anywhere near level in this game
