  1. I'm in on the Ifollow. Fuck all else to do. 0-0
  2. Worst - getting stuffed by the pie eaters pre-season after a decent win against Accrington giving us false hope. Best - Wimbledon away was ok but spoiled by the long walk from the pub and a few of our lot going past on the bus. So it has to be Cheltenham. That moment where you can't help but celebrate even though you shouldn't really be there and then that lad appears from our left to celebrate with the players in front of us.
  3. Tom Huddlestone could do a job as a freebie. Providing he's got enough cash in the bank and doesn't need a final pay day.
  4. Last time I saw Morecambe play was when I was involved with Farnborough Town. They turned up in the Bolton team coach. The silver one with the crest on the side. Bit of a buzz to see it at our ground. Pretty sure we got dicked.
  5. I think I heard years back that Paul Mariner is a Farnworth lad too. No idea from whereabouts though.
  6. Buzzing my little cotton socks off after that. Social distancing on the train meant Sober Dan was pretty quiet although he did go for about 4 shits either way. Must of ate something a bit off the lad earlier in the day. Spoons is still Spoons and doing the burger and a pint deal plus additional pints. Locals were alright when they were drawing but got a bit heated when quite a few Bolton in the 'away' end went up on 91 minutes. Didn't think we'd been sussed by the Burberry clad few in front of us until one turned round and said that our number 16 was as bad at throw ins as Hector Bellerin. Silent smile behind my mask and carried on watching the game. Stewards were sound as a pound too. Gates were just open so you walked straight in without showing your ticket and they said thanks when you used the sanitiser. Never even asked me about the tinnie in my pocket nor when I supped it at half time and were very understanding when the lad who celebrated a bit more than anyone else said he just got a bit excited. Gilks - superb tonight. Couple of good stops and caught a good few from them bloody long throws Baptiste - could of stepped up easily to avoid a first half chance but did a decent and effective job. Never realised that his headers make a louder thud than normal headers Delaney - solid, love that his only out ball is down the wing so forward players have an idea where it's going. Scored the winner and took the piss by using their towel for a thrown in which ......... went down the wing Santos - can't of been the same lad from the Port Vale game. Back to the good Santos. Got stuck in, body on the line and all that. Note: no big unit to wind him up though Jones - first time I noticed tonight how we drop into a 5 at the back when needed and then he's only gone and appeared down the other end a few seconds later. He'll sleep well on the coach back Sarcevic - looked a bit lost when fist punching the Bolton lad after the goal and put in a shift all over the gaff. Never be a world beater but a massive trier and I like that Thomason - getting to like this lad. Good vision and not afraid to spread it around. Got a bit more involved physically tonight which was good to see. Should join Sarc for a kebab occasionally to put a few pounds on Greenidge - given a job at LWB for the first half he looked like he been sent to deep extra cover and didn't have a friggin' clue where it was. Not exactly over physical for a lad his size but plain to see he was a target second half for the aerial cross field ball. Think he won one too Delfounso - unsung hero for me tonight. Lots of effort mostly off the ball and supported the midfield. Struggled a bit to keep up when we sprung forward but probably thinks he could of buried at least one of his chances. About time he told the missus it's her job to get up in the night to feed the new nipper Isgrove - like a little ferret. He runs around, changes direction, runs again and then has a breather 'cos he's knackered. Hard working sort who tracked and harried and should of scored. Looked a bit easier from 100 yards away but a bit of a different story on the highlights Doyle - bit greedy at times but who can blame him with his goal record. Proper player who'll bag a fair few more this season. Frustrates a bit that he can't shield the ball better outside the box, but gives you a few tingly goose bumps in and around the box. Fair play to him for throwing the bucket of towels for their long throw lad over the fence Goodnight. I've had a few.
  7. Gilks - did sod all apart from yell a lot. Not even sure he bothered getting a touch on that cross that hit the bar Baptiste - ran loads, tackled, headed. Must be absolutely knackered at his age after this shift Santos - man mountain this lad who scared us to death a while back. Tho' shalt not pass Delaney - just get rid of it down that line. That'll do lad Jones - grow a left foot, but if you keep running, that ball ain't coming back any time soon Sarcevic - last night's kebab played it's toll but broke up play and 'got rid of it' Tutte - 'kin excellent lad. Long may it continue Kioso - he'll sleep well tonight. Up, down, up , down, up, down, goal. Those were the days Delfonso - pain in the arse last couple of games but a wiggle and a pass and we've scored. All forgiven Doyle - at his age he needs it on a plate. Came looking for scraps but didn't get fed. He will tho Crawford - like that bird in the disco you'll never pull, frustrates your arse off but hopeful that one day it'll happen Subs - think I saw some blond hair lads running around but a few too many ports to be certain First 11 sorted!
  8. Spent my tenner on Bolton ressies v Geordie u21s but quite enjoyed that so allowed my opinion; Crellin - enough said already. Poor at near post, no man's land for second, flapper, not good enough Greenidge - big lad solid in the tackle but headless chicken with the ball at his feet and no awareness Taft - solid and a bit like Delaney but less awareness around him Mascoll - never a left back. Lacks pace and will never beat anyone. Same up top but scored Hickman - does averagely ok and willing to get forward White - had high hopes but has gone backward to being slow and shite Comley - winds me up this bloke. Slow, predictable and scares the shit out of me every time he gets the ball. If you want the ball, which is fair enough, get it in the right area and look to progress rather than an easy backwards pass that slows down any momentum and pisses off every fan watching and your teammates. Closing on Crellin for the biggest liability Gordon - tries his hardest and looked better at left back but poor Darcy - first time he stood out for me in a game. I know it was against Newcastle U21 but if he can replicate that in a competitive match then all good. Big ask though Miller - didn't see much of him Isgrove - first 45 I couldn't tell him from Darcy but he did ok without anything too penetrating Henry - don't think he touched it Gnahoua - does ok but runs a bit, no Eoin Thomason - the bright spark. Something about this lad that will hopefully impact on he first team That's it. Back to the booze to celebrate.
  9. Tinnie of Thatchers Haze in the park about 7 Two glasses of Tia Maria pre kick-off to calm the nerves Bottle and a bit of white during the first half Enjoying this. We're doing alright!

Fingers crossed but don't hold your breath! Winding me up this iFollow. Turned it off after 85 mins midweek and we scored. Depressed the fuck out of me today. A couple of Peters and a bottle of Cockburns and the smile is back!

4 inch studs on a rock hard pitch Mr Grey? You'd struggle to touch the bar in a game of 5-a-side pal! ** just thought I join in. You know we love you really xxx
  13. After watching that warm up, they'll be knackered now. What was ever wrong with a double shake of each leg and a fag?
  14. I was there with my dad. Got dicked and it was cold.
  15. Tomski mate. I can usually get anything between £2m and £2.5bn for a legit reason. 25 more years of beer and watching the Wanderers probably won't get through. Sorry pal!
  16. Cheers mate. Not sure anyone would want to return to a job where the boss had stitched you up. I wouldn't. Got straight thro to ACAS and they said 'no respective termination' and furlough should be the option taken. She said an employment lawyer would love this one and to get in touch with one asap! I'll take a step back now as one of my funders is mates with the owner and I don't want to piss him off!
  17. Just seen the letter and P45. Letter dated 28/4/20 saying employment terminated from 25/3/20, thanks for hard work etc., terminated due to lack of work due to lockdown, look forward to you returning to work when business recovers, P45 dated 25/3/20. No mention of any notice period, holiday pay due. So on PAYE for 6 months ish, laid off with no furlough and expected to go back! What employer would do that, even if he just paid the furlough 80% that he would receive, surely that would have been the answer?
  18. I think its only about 6 months so redundancy irrelevant I guess
  19. The bit I don't get is whether the employer has actually done anything wrong. Ethically yes, but legally I can't find any info. You're right about the dialogue but depends if he wants to piss him off and risk never getting his job back when the business re-opens. Plenty of time for him to find a new job I guess!
  20. Totally agree. I'll get him to set up in oppo to him when the time is right and rob his customers off him!
  21. To clarify - he is employed and paid via PAYE
  22. Anyone any idea if an employer can do this? Mate has been waiting five weeks for his furlough confirmation and cash and now his employer has sent him a letter saying that he's decided not to furlough, confirmed that he has been released from his contract from his last working day over five weeks ago but will re-employ him when the business opens again. Sounds well dodgy to me. Probably pocketing the cash.
  23. Rudy had the right idea! That's all for tonight folks. More tomorrow if you want some??
  24. Odd post, bit of lurking and that's about it. Been supplying the lads from the local with a few of these over the past few days so thought I'd join in as Zico is running short ...
