2017/2018 Players
So you dislike Wheater, Spearing, and Beevers too... right?

2017/2018 Players
Well the rest aren't out of contract for another 6-7 weeks, and they've not hesitated in telling them to move on. Wilkinson has another year left on his, and he's been told to find somewhere else to play. I'd say that it does.

2017/2018 Players
Well clearly the fact that he's not on the list of released players means that they are trying to work something out.

2017/2018 Players
More than I'd take the obscurity of being a free agent with an injury record. Do you honestly think anyone is going to take him given his recent health record? Thing is, if he's fit he plays. If he plays, he gets paid. If he doesn't take the deal, that's his issue. I'm just saying what I would offer him if I were in charge.

2017/2018 Players
Can see Davies on a pay-as-you-play. Good for both parties, as he can be a very effective player when he's fit.

Masterchef
Ramsey runs the one over here. It's VERY reality TV, in all the worst ways.

Parkinsons Promotion Part 1
I'll be all over this if you're selling it again. I love the framed Dream Team one I have from you!

Be A Few Bubbles Bursting On Here At The Weekend!
Isn't it short for Scrotum (I had always assumed it was), so therefore Scrote?

20 Years
That reminds me. I haven't heard a "Could Mr. X please contact the nearest steward, your wife has gone into labour." for a while. One season there was at least half a dozen of those.

20 Years
That sounds about right. Good memory!

20 Years
For some reason, I just had a flashback of Djibril Diawara sprinting full pace all the way across the field and absolutely destroying an opposition player. Can't even remember which team it was against, but that tackle always stuck in my mind. It was God awful.

I always enjoy Campo's 40-yard daisy cutter goal vs. Spurs. But Stu's goal vs. Rovers has to be the best feeling I've ever had at a game.

Sheff Utd Fans
I just had a look on there, again. There's a thread started by a Bolton fan on Sunday congratulating them on their remarkable season. After one or two decent responses from clearly decent Blades fans, the thread devolved into the usual "We finished massively ahead of you, Madine's a twat, your fanbase is shit" etc. I think there's some seriously bad inferiority complex there.

Civic Reception
THAT was hilarious. Crowd kept egging him on so he kept responding! Again, I don't know how it happened but Wheats seems to have a really good connection to the Bolton public. Hopefully he'll be the first on the contract renewal list.
-
Civic Reception
Well if the crowd reaction is anything to go by, our poll is correct. They love that lad.

Civic Reception
It is. The cameraman needs shooting though. Spend half the time with sideways video because he couldn't figure out how to switch it from vertical video. Urgh.

Livestreaming on Facebook for anyone who can't make it.

Your Player Of The Season
I think you have to look at him as Mr. BWFC this season. Unfaltering performances all season, and the club ambassador on a lot of community and charity events. Short of his dodgy North East accent, that man is BWFC through and through now.

Be A Few Bubbles Bursting On Here At The Weekend!
Random thoughts in the shower this morning... Looking at how many ex-players congratulated us on our promotion, and the coverage we got, I can't remember even that much of a peep when Sheffield United were promoted and/or crowned Champions. It might be because I'm more likely to see Bolton news than Sheffield United news, but still... Maybe it's just that they're not that likable? We have some genuine World-Class ex-players who have played for some of the best teams in the world, and still they come to watch Bolton games and keep their ear to the ground when it comes to our performances and results. I wonder if Sheffield United could say the same?

Pre Season Tour
I'll have a word with the Reno team here and get them to sort out a friendly!

Away Days 2016-17
Oh it definitely could... I still won't let that stop the Sun reporting us as the highest away attendance in the league!

Away Days 2016-17
(Slightly) off-topic, but I found this interesting table. http://www.worldfootball.net/attendance/eng-league-one-2016-2017/2/ It isn't comparing the number of away fans per game, but rather the total attendance when that club is the visiting team. Seems Bolton are a slightly bigger draw than Sheffield, which is as I expected all along.

Be A Few Bubbles Bursting On Here At The Weekend!
At least one of their fans gets it. It's not that difficult a concept to grasp, really.
