United expecting 60,000 who the fuck are these folk who pay to watch a shit testimonial United could just open the doors with no match on and they'd have 20,000 turn out really unbelievable.

Charity innit

It will raise £5 million for children's cancer charity.

He's England's captain and all time top scorer and will be at United when he's done.

Hardly surprising it's going to be a large turn out mounts.

Two scummy clubs.

That's all I have to say about it.

free on BT sport

Other than not giving two hoots about what Rooney/United are up to if it raises a shit load of money for a kids charity then hope it's packed out and BT have had to pay through the nose to contribute

I'd hope Rooney not taking a cut and every penny goes to charity.

Surprised his charity of choice wasn't Help the Aged.

From what I've heard from a mate of mine who is ITK at United, Rooney is following the Beckham model

Do a shitload of charity stuff, both publicised and non-publicised, and let the "Rooney brand" benefit from the feel-good factor

Maybe not completely altruistic but at least the charities benefit

It will, but he'll enjoy tax relief on it, in full. Probably a couple of months wages.
