Bought a fourth generation apple TV broken with a Kodi custom install off eBay 9 days ago. Could not get any streams to work on the various Kodi apps installed after trying up to Xmas eve then gave up and contacted the seller for help. Came back to it today and everything works and have been very impressed especially with the 1080p streams for films. I suspect someone accidentally rubbed it with a balloon during the Xmas festivities.

My advice would be to look for a cheap second hand Garmin 310XT on eBay. Been using ours for 7 years now. As much or as little technology as you wish to apply and they work well.
