  1. Given the unusual heavy traffic on the North bound M66 tonight at 6:45pm and the 17k plus attendance I take it Leedsmust have had all the Darwen end?
  2. City looking top notch again. Poor Jose, looks like his mega strike force has shot blanks again.
  3. Strange but I've started to imbibe a long cool Gin and slimline tonic with loads of ice and a slice of lime. I find one lasts an hour whereby before I'd have sunk a bottle of white wine in the same time.
  4. Paula Radcliffe, Chris Chittel & Tony Audenshaw (both Emmerdale), Alistair Campbell, Uriah Rennie, John Motson, Gordon Ramsey, Helen Skelton, Richard Dunwoody and many more at the start line and hospitality tents of the GNR and GMR over the years. Helen was very nice! Ramsey was a self obsessed wanker who kept whipping off his running vest on the coach to the start line and standing up to show everyone his pecs.
  5. doesn't really matter how many thousands protest in the UK there are over 132 million americans (57% of the voting population) who agree with his bans. http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/current_events/immigration/january_2017/most_support_temporary_ban_on_newcomers_from_terrorist_havens
  6. Nah, those protestors in London are the usual bunch ofsnowflakes and malcontents. A bit of kettling, water canon and a few cracked heads will send em scurrying to the nearest "safe place".
  7. I'll give the third episode a go but I nearly knocked it on the head half way through the second. apple Yard tree is pretty intriguing though.
  8. As he is a former member of the Trotskyist Workers Power group and and life long Man U fan I think I shall ignore his hysteria.
  9. I have disliked the EU since we joined. The CAP was skewed so much in favour of France that we the English at one time used to subsidise rich Paris commuters who went home to their weekend back yard "farms". Then we had that cunt Brown signing our parliamentary sovereignty away by seeking off to sign the Lisbon treaty without a referendum. Then Merkel decided unilaterally to invite millions of economic migrants to the EU thousands of whom would cross to the UK once they received their shiny new EU passports. Same thing happened with 70% of the Somali economic migrants the Dutch invited in during the early 2000's. The "liberal agenda" was shit anyway, far better off under a strong right wing government.
  10. Arrival. 8/10. Intriguing concept of time.
  11. Another virtue signalling "right on" comedian? Wow I must reevaluate my opinions in order to remain cool and with it!
  12. Hacksaw Ridge 9/10. No one does realism like Mel Gibson. Wife in tears at the end. Would have cleaned up at the oscars if it weren't Mel Gibson directing.
  13. Always was. His goal scoring record before joining us was below average for a forward.
  14. Not good. Today I hate football.
  15. I see the William brothers are contesting another final.
  16. Know all about his UNICEF stuff but he is still a virtue signalling wanker in the same class as Madonna, Bono and Geldof.
  17. Aye the mard twat pull out of an interview because Morgan had dared to criticise Madonna and the women march. He will do for me Piers!
  18. It took me watching the entire first series of No offence to realise she wasn't in it but has a body double in Saira Choudhry.
  19. I reckon the majority of people would be a lot better off.
  20. Fuck me. After 10 years of being skint, i started to earn big money!
  21. Thing is everyone assumes everyone caught buses in the 50's and 60's. Me dad used to travel to Agecroft colliery from Halliwell 6-7 times week on a moter bike in the 50's then car from 1962. I think Birch is wrong. People did seem happier and went out a lot lot more, even during the week.
  22. I'd have to disagree on one point. Back in the 60's and early 70's there was an abundance of "blue collar" jobs. So much so that there was absolutely no excuse to be unemployed. People could move from one job to another in their locality and this meant more people were employed and towns and localities were a lot more prosperous.
  23. Pretty straightforward for me. These comments are all I need to know: "Salafism is an ultra-conservative branch of Islam." "German authorities say "almost all" terror networks in the country have evolved out of the movement." "whose aim is simply to bring Muslims back to an earlier interpretation of their religion." He should therefore quit the "modern" game and go back to hurling rocks at the moon.
