I’ve got 10 years to achieve a dream of working abroad- @BobyBrno lad did it near 30 years ago… I’m doing it wrong way around, but hope to make it for life. Do I sell the gaff or rent it? Do I invest in further properties when I really can’t be arsed being here? I intend to allow kids to play football and have fun; so many questions

I’m so naive; wish I had your foresight. I pay into a (apparently) decent pension. That coupled with my benefits keeps me in place. However, I do intend to work abroad and probably retire in either Spain or Portugal… I’m banking on being 100% debt free by 50, use my generous holiday allowance to work some shitty TUI job for six months in year one, then gradually reduce it down, find somewhere and settle. I could technically work remotely, but my employer won’t allow it… is it not as simple as that? I’m not prepared to go it alone as a coach, risk and reward isn’t worth it
