  1. Indeed and voted in at the expense of Spurs.
  2. Just wondering, how do you get your updates nowadays. I always check newsnow Bolton and Marc iles, as well as this forum. Anyone got any tips?
  3. Yeah, but still as fecking useless.
  4. Looking back it was a bit pointless, just speculation in the main.
  5. I was addicted to club call too and ringing it from work every 4 hours or so. It was difficult to get a Bolton news in Salford, so club call was a godsend. Then one day I got called into see the boss in his office. I was thinking this doesn’t look good, then he said do I recognise this number, the club call number. Working in Salford I was the only Bolton fan working there, so it was pointless denying. Fortunately I got a mild bollocking and told no more.
  6. https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/28644678/#:~:text=Conclusion%3A An Achilles tendon rupture, level than their preinjury status. if you read the conclusion paragraph the outlook doesn’t look good, unfortunately for CMG or the club or fans. If he’s ok and I hope he is for his sake, it can in some instances take 2 years to get back to pre injury status.
  7. More competitive, means more teams vying for top spot. That means more crucial games at the top end where teams can cut each others throat. It’s vital that we win more of those type of games.
  8. Me and my old fella used to listen on the radio to Peter Jones in the 70s, you’re right he was the best.
  9. The thought of sitting through another season with everything still the same depresses me. Three seasons in this league with the same tactics that some teams have sussed out how to play against us now. It would be ruthless on Evatts part but perhaps he needs to change his back room staff, fresh ideas and new perspectives. if it stays the same and we don’t get off to a flyer the fans will be on his back early doors, I’ve no doubt.
  10. If you look how close Wembley is to Oxford, you could spit on it. if they ever build a Wembley north, which seems to be what Manu U are trying to do, then we could start pushing 40k for that venue. Negligible transport costs and eat at home before the match. Just match tickets to pay for.
  11. Yes, it’s definitely bigger, longer and wider. I checked the other day when my son in law said it’s a big pitch, it’ll suit you
  12. I miss the guys running on with a bucket and sponge, can you imagine a physio doing that now.
  13. When you buy the tickets for the 3rd ticket you click on reassign, to reassign to the second season ticket holder. Tiresome!
  14. I was in the same position 3 tickets with 2 season tickets. click on your account, top right, then view account management, then network. From here you can reassign to anyone in your network. This worked for me
  15. I had trouble yesterday. It seems or for me anyway, that I had to use the left hand panel to choose and buy. I tried many times by clicking on the blue dots and selecting the seats individually and adding to my basket but it kept failing only when I came to pay.
  16. Cheers 👍
  17. Cheers. That’s disappointing.
  18. Just gone on to buy. Have the blocks 202-213 been sold already. Anyone know?
  19. I know 😆 but I reckon the more fans we take the better chance of out shouting the opposition fans.
  20. We’ve been in 4 playoff finals, won 2, lost 2. I went to the two we lost and didn’t go to the two we won. I’m going to this one. 🙏
  21. I wouldn’t play Collins at Peterborough, I’d wrap him in cotton wool. Give Charles and Nlundulu a start and get minutes into them. It would suit Peterborough if Collins got injured against them on Saturday.
  22. That middle paragraph is exactly what I’ve been thinking for a few months now.
  23. I’ll be keeping an eye on Cambridge’s game on Tuesday away at Bristol Rovers. They drop points there and they will need points against Derby on Saturday, to save their own status as a League 1 club.
  24. On the crowd element. I think, since we nearly went out of business dormant fans have started attending again. The prospect of losing your football club really does make you think of what life would be like without bwfc. I wouldn’t want to experience it again but maybe it did have positive repercussions. It also is a big help playing attractive football too btw.
  25. 8 minutes injury time!
