I haven’t seen that. Well in that case…fuck him.

Wigan Athletic (H)
Great point this. It can’t be a fluke when it’s happened so many times. I wonder what kind of reception he’ll get when he rocks up, I hope it’s favourable from our lot.

Rob Holding as well and he went to Arsenal too.

I fear we’re both married to the same wife.

Transfer Rumours Summer 2025
I’m with you on this. I reckon Schumacher thinks he can improve the goalie dept.

The Table
The longer our winning streak goes on, the more pressure it puts on the teams above. As we saw last season Derby slipped up a couple of times under the pressure, as we did. I’ll be watching with a keen eye on the Reading v Wrexham tomorrow.

Leyton Orient (H)
Excellent turnaround, belief building nicely for the run in.
-
Huddersfield Town (A)
The smiles on the players faces at the end, brilliant! Not felt this good on a Saturday for yonks!

Transfer Gossip
Thomason, Randall and Morley would be my start for Saturday.
-
Brand Evatt
I agree. The one thing that could speed up his departure is attendances dropping and the crowd getting on his back during games.
-
New Poll - Evatt
My concern, should the other board members insist Evatt has to go in the next month or two would be Sharon falling on her sword. SB has backed Evatt to the hilt, showing admirable loyalty to him and it’s not too hard to imagine her attitude being, if Ian goes I go.
-
New Poll - Evatt
The reality is if we lose to Huddersfield and then the next league game is the following Saturday versus Reading (H) and we don’t win that, the fans will turn not just on social media but in the stadium.
-
Charlton Athletic (A)
Nathan Jones took over Charlton in Feb24 Michael Duff took over Huddersfield in May24 both those teams will be slugging it out for top 2. We’ve got Evatt with his team 5 years in the making.

Worst moments
I met my then girlfriend (now my wife) who’s from the south east and we went to that game, pretty sure it was on a Friday night. The first time she’d seen us play and she wasn’t impressed to say the least. It all turned out well though because she supports Bolton now.

Todays Games
The Orient player was never going to get there first today. I’m all for physical in your face legitimate play but Orient cross the line.
-
Todays Games
Anyone else watching the Charlton v Orient game. Orient have just knobbled a Charlton player who had to be strechered off. Only shown a yellow, when it should have been a red imo. Two players injured in two games by Orient.

Transfers - Other L1 teams
He does. Gary Madine was the target man during Parkys reign here and the football was dull but effective.

Roy Greaves
Monteraze! Yes not Montezumas. 👍
-
Roy Greaves
Sad news. I Remember watching Roy in the 70s, from the Manny road terrace. I think he had Montezumas for a while just up the road from BP. Thanks for the memories.

Transfer Gossip
The other thing I can’t figure is, Luton are a Champo side but deem Macatee not good enough, otherwise why sell? If we sign him and get promoted to the Champo, we have a player who seemingly isn’t good enough for that level.

Euro 24
The problem with England is the media coverage, they hype it up to fever pitch and people fall for it every time. I don’t get taken in by it too much but I do think this is the best set of mdf/fwd players we’ve ever had imo.
-
Euro 24
I’d just like to experience England and Bolton winning a major trophy before I shuffle off. Bolton preferably but beggars can’t be choosers.

Alan Hansen
Sad news. I always liked his analysis on motd and as already said a great defender.
