IMO Nolan has never played well in midfield. He is technically good, but is not mobile or quick enough to be a good midfielder. Is best spells for us are when he has played off Davies up front and contributed with important goals. Crampo, as I said last night, it's not only Nolan. I have not read all the posts so forgive me if I repeat something. How many 16 year olds would actually go and vote anyway? Turnouts for elections are lower than ever and most 18 year olds don't vote. It would probably cost a fortune to pass through government and probably not make any difference apart from make turnout figures look worse.

I might have read between the lines cos I don't like him. But his excuse for playing Muamba on Gerrard was so he didn't dominate the game. well we have had good results against the scousers in the past and we have never had to worry about the opposition like that before. And to be honest they totally dominated the 1st half. They just passed around us while we didn't pressure the ball. Elmander playing virtually left back didn't help and I blame him for Kuyt's free header, but how many times in his career he has found himself in that position of the pitch.

I think everyone is getting carried away after scraping past a poor City team that dont travel well. We will play the same style, with no flair and if it's 0-0 ater an hour, we will hold on for the draw. I think Megson has bought himself 5 or 6 games with the City result and looking at the fixtures I predict a maximum of 3 or 4 points. At which point we will still be in the bottom 3.
