Ous have just gone up from ?29 a quarter to ?80 a quarter. Have always been on a meter.

Need to give them a ring in the morning.

ALthough the standing charges for next year are higher than this years total bill !!

Was paying ?35 a month.

 

Switched to a meter.

 

Now paying ?18 a month.

Live in an old house. Problem solved!

They seem to think we use less water for some reason as my rates are close to f?ck all. Though, to be fair there is a rezi out back so I reckon it should be free.

However, I actually have the same proletariat water piped into my mansion, and am not on a meter so pay about ?30 a month.

 

In my last house, which was smaller with less taps, I was on a meter and had a bigger bill than the Reebok Stadium. It's a disgrace.
