Reet lads. The WA government have recently announced a drive to recruit 30,000 skilled tradespersons to relocate to Western Australia. I am sure Perth White and recent long stayer jayjayoghani would give this place a big recommendation.

All tradespersons welcome but a special emphasis on those related to the building trade.

Aye probably the nicest city in Australia with highest living standards. Give it a go if you can. 

We've enough jobs and opportunities going here, can't see why anyone would want to move halfway across the world when Global Britain needs these people just as much.

30,000 traitors, more like. 

(Melbourne is better anyway)

Australia is somewhere I've looked into moving to, as it goes.

But I said "Yes" to patriotism and chose my homeland.

Battered, broken and woke as it is, I'm just too much of a patriot to turn my back on it.

 

It looks very nice to be fair. My works offices are in Sydney though. Mate of ours lives in Sydney and loves it. Stupid not to look into it really.

Id do it in a heartbeat if my family would.

Remember tapping you up about it few years ago before we had kids bolty. Things weren't just quite right to take the plunge back then.

Eldest lives 3hrs or so North of Melbourne.
Middle one is moving with work to Melbourne around October time, around the same time as youngest goes to Uni.

Might spend my winters out in the sun for free 😉

Dunno about that- probably as much "British" genetic material there as here, maybe more now.

 

I fancy going for a visit and maybe seeing NZ too as my cousin lives there but not sure I could live there permanently.

There was an article about it over the weekend, someone (retired overseas) missing that’s it’s frozen. Toughsheet, IMO, they knew about it before they went.
