February 20, 20233 yr Reet lads. The WA government have recently announced a drive to recruit 30,000 skilled tradespersons to relocate to Western Australia. I am sure Perth White and recent long stayer jayjayoghani would give this place a big recommendation. All tradespersons welcome but a special emphasis on those related to the building trade. Some of you may have seen this? https://www.lancs.live/news/uk-world-news/australia-jobs-uk-workers-recruit-26260897 Edited February 20, 20233 yr by bolty58
February 20, 20233 yr Aye probably the nicest city in Australia with highest living standards. Give it a go if you can.
February 20, 20233 yr We've enough jobs and opportunities going here, can't see why anyone would want to move halfway across the world when Global Britain needs these people just as much. 30,000 traitors, more like. (Melbourne is better anyway)

Stepping over the edge too much for some mate. Comfortable rut and all that. The first two responders after you almost certainly cases in point. One of 'em might have to fill in a form with a lot of yes/no answers. Nervous breakdown job.

But I said "Yes" to patriotism and chose my homeland. Battered, broken and woke as it is, I'm just too much of a patriot to turn my back on it.
February 20, 20233 yr It looks very nice to be fair. My works offices are in Sydney though. Mate of ours lives in Sydney and loves it. Stupid not to look into it really.
February 20, 20233 yr Id do it in a heartbeat if my family would. Remember tapping you up about it few years ago before we had kids bolty. Things weren't just quite right to take the plunge back then. Fuck me Id be out of here in a jiffy.

February 20, 20233 yr Eldest lives 3hrs or so North of Melbourne. Middle one is moving with work to Melbourne around October time, around the same time as youngest goes to Uni. Might spend my winters out in the sun for free 😉

February 20, 20233 yr I fancy going for a visit and maybe seeing NZ too as my cousin lives there but not sure I could live there permanently.

February 20, 20233 yr I’d thought WW would be a good place to start a recruitment drive with all the negativity surrounding the U.K. Obviously not.

Patriots here mate. You know that. Not some yellow bellied traitors who scarper at the first sniff of a few extra shillings. Season ticket holders for Team UK, not some distant armchair supporter shaking their fist at the telly 😊🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧

February 20, 20233 yr Would've give it a shot 50 years ago , but I think I could be to old now to learn a new language.
