Well here we go. The excitement builds for our first game. Can we build on 2 years of progress in this division and a good pre-season to state our claim for promotion.

First decision for Evatt will be whether to go with a number 10 behind 2 forwards - if he does CMG is the man.

But I think he’ll grow into the first 11 - he can make a difference next week coming from the bench. 

Just 3 positions up for grabs then for me. I think Morley will pip Thomason, Adebeyejo will go up top with Charles and Iredale wil go LCB (if fit, if not Forrester did very well today.

Decent half but no more than that. We've done some good things but the pace has been way too slow.

Two yellow cards and we get six minutes 

And a 3rd card within the six minutes 

And I've no idea how long we ended up paying because the scoreboard is switched off

It may just be this ref., or it may be general but clubscare going to need the large number of subs to cover players on yellows, especially if games last 110+ minutes.

It's the only way to get 60 minutes of actual football.

Anyhoo we need to wake up - looks like we're sleepwalking and that's just asking for trouble.

Everything is going to be analysed time wise. 

Even goal celebrations, arsing around with throw-ins etc.

Presumably, someone is basically stopping a watch at each opportunity.

Good performance and great start to the season. Picked up the pace when needed and they caused very little trouble. Dempsey was immense

Good result, some positives but at times it was like the early part of last season with really slow build up giving Lincoln plenty of time to get back in numbers.

No bad performances and delighted for Victor to get his goal which he deserved for all the great pressing work he did.

At times our football was class, the final ball just lacking for what would have been some great team goals, Iredale and Randell Williams was very good on the left side, could have been more, but a great start to the season.
