Lincoln (H)

Well here we go. The excitement builds for our first game. Can we build on 2 years of progress in this division and a good pre-season to state our claim for promotion.

First decision for Evatt will be whether to go with a number 10 behind 2 forwards - if he does CMG is the man.

But I think he’ll grow into the first 11 - he can make a difference next week coming from the bench.

Just 3 positions up for grabs then for me. I think Morley will pip Thomason, Adebeyejo will go up top with Charles and Iredale wil go LCB (if fit, if not Forrester did very well today.

                      Baxter

       Jones.     Santos.   Iredale

Dac.Cog.   Sheehan Morley.  Williams

                      Dempsey

            Charles.     Adebeyejo

The forum definitely has a different feel to it these days. There are a handful of prolific posters who tend to flood threads and have changed the mood of the place. I'd bet they don't know any Hudder

I can't remember if I've already posted this because I'm pissed. But just to put things into perspective - we were loaning players form Lincoln a few short years ago. The progress we've made sinc

cash only is very odd, isnt it

if its an hour earlier, im more likely to use it but if its only for one way, a taxi for 4 is cheaper

Topless driver though. It’s usually a nice chap.

Westhoughton time is definitely wrong.

Still suits me , swift couple in The Brewery Tap , jump on't "buzz " around 13.00 , kebab in fan zone before going into the hotel.

After game back in the Tap for 17.39 ( was 17.34 last season)

Same price as a return. £7.

It wouldn’t surprise me if by £7 single and £7 return actually means the journey to the ground will be £7 and the journey home will be another £7.

Surely not? I'd be flabbergasted if that was the case.

As I said, I wouldn’t be surprised. I just don’t see anyone ever buying a single. They’d buy returns and potentially make the bus unavailable for the return journey because seats are already sold.

It's not £14 for a return ticket

No, it can only be 7 for the day. Dad and a kid 14 is bad enough, but dad and kid 28 would really kill it.

It stops me from going to cup matches. 5 for my ticket then 7 to get there ? No chance. I order my match ticket and watch the match on the pub iFollow (or similar).

Thanks Beever. I knew I hadn't dreamt it.

So £12 total. Which is 3 quid less than Newport are charging pensioners against Charlton. God help us if FV jacked in and the ticket prices shot up.

Anyway. Lincoln. We’ll shit ‘um.

Any ESL spares lads :D

They've already said they won't be running for cup games and they will decide on a game by game basis if they will be on once they have checked demand.

I’m sure Sharon’s on the case, but last season I had a ticket for every home  Pizza cup match and I went to only one.

im at a Do at night

Bolton Cricket Club

was looking at match bus back anywhere round there

All the ESLSC  would get Minibus up there then Match bus Back

No. 5 goes down Green Lane to Bradford Rd. Walk down Bishops Road. It’s as close as a match bus goes I think.

Going off my original team prediction on the first post, I’m still sticking with it, although I think it could be Forrester for Iredale.

I find the bench options intriguing. I’ve got a feeling he’ll go without a keeper again. Explaining to Coleman that’s his usual approach will allow him to have 7 outfield options.

Ashworth, Forrrster (Iredale), Maghoma, Thomason, CMG, Nlundulu, Jerome.

2 defenders, 2 Midfielders, 3 attacking options.

While JDB and Toal have just come back, they could be left out Saturday, but will be very much back in the mix for next games.

                              Baxter

Dacres-Cogley Jones Santos Iredale Williams

               Morely Sheehan Dempsey

                       Charles Adeboyejo

Only places I reckon there's potential for change is Big Vic and Iredale depending on fitness.

Looking forward to finally getting underway tomorrow, let's hope for a positive start.

I'd be slightly surprised if Coleman wasn't on the bench tomorrow. Baxter's first competitive game since his ankle injury at Hull 8 months ago.

That was my original thinking. I suppose it depends on how confident Evatt is on Baxter’s fitness.

Personally, I'd like to see Coleman on the bench regardless. I understand both sides of the argument, but the alternative is no longer Joel Dixon, and we're only allowed 5 changes from the bench of 7 anyway.

I'll go 3-1 to the trotters.   Charles 2 and dempsey

Cant decide whether it's a drab 1st half and the moaners are coming out by half time or we start like champions and go 2 nowt within 15 minutes.

3-0 to the Super Whites.
