Nowhere near as poor as some are making out. We were the better team in the 1st half but couldn't argue Boro deserved their win. We looked like we had a few too many players blowing out their ars

It doesn't sound so good does it! I was being somewhat sarcy, as it's the last thing that would attract me to a place.

Just got ours, still a few left, better hurry up to avoid disappointment

Impressed weve completely sold out all the top tiers.

Haven’t opened the top tiers

Looking at the seating map, with Boro having sold 2800, we're just about breaking the 3000 crowd in total so far

In x3. Looking forward to this

I can't understand why people won't go against a team from a division higher, great chance to see how our players are progressing against higher opposition

Me neither, cup football seems to be the poor relation to the league, sad for us old boys who remember that BWFC was built on cup football and crowds in general were bigger for cup games back in the day.

Money.

Win Saturday though, and more will turn out.

I also don't know why they don't make it pay on the gate, at least for part of the ground.

Money. I agree, the club are doing their bit by keeping prices down

Win Saturday though, and more will turn out. Absolutely, winning  games gives a feel good factor and more will turn out

I also don't know why they don't make it pay on the gate, at least for part of the ground. Because the yoof will congregate at crazy corner, unless the North Stand was made pay on the gate instead of ESL

These are my opinions and not meant to have a go at anyone not going to the gfame

Doesn't matter what the prices are- if folk are belt tightening, as we are continually being told they are, then a match fee, travel and any grub may just be a luxury too far, especially as it's holiday time, kids back to school soon and needing uniforms etc.

Be a good test this on Tuesday. I think they’ll beat us but I think we will give em a game.

I’ve given up on the cups and completely understand why people can’t be arsed.

Up until 3 or 4 years ago I’d be at each round at home and most away as I like my club was a cup fan/person over league.

That has changed though and is the clubs greed and lack of respect for competitions that I could reel off plenty.

Finally kicked in for me against Huddersfield at home and both teams were clearly trying to lose with weakened teams and I thought why the fuck am I here. Defended the cup/s for years and reality is they are shit.

You will get the odd good game, likewise I’ll now do the odd turn out.

Fair play to Guardiola as if there were a few more of him then I think the cups integrity would be well on the way back.

To be fair Evatt tries but the damage is done for me.

I’d of been all over this game but not sure I can be arsed this time. See on the day.

Yep. Reap what you sow I suppose.

Evatt does tend to put out a decent side, bit cups don't have their former attraction until maybe later rounds. Or a big Derby game obviously.

I said it pre-season.

More ST holders will mean less disposable income for aways and cup games etc.

Home games can still be expensive even as a ST holder re petrol, parking , food & drinks etc, especially so if taking the kids.

It will interesting to see our away followings at the likes of Reading, Oxford, Cambridge, Charlton, Wycombe & Pompey all pre Xmas.

Top of the league though and obviously more will find the money somehow.

Why do food and drinks come into it?

Do people not normally eat unless there is a match on??

Can only see the elite turning out for Reading

You're right, it is a choice, but some will have to finish work and pretty much go straight to the game, so get food out.

Still fuel, parking to account for.

In Reading.

So I can have a drink before and after the game, prior to driving to Exeter the day after for Jnr to start Uni.

This lot have made an awful start in the league.

It’s definitely winnable.

Need to get Nlund/Jerome on the pitch/scoresheet for some confidence.

They are either hopeless or confidence players who could potentially go on a scoring run.

At the moment they both clearly look the former.

Jerome has scored goals all over, but without being overly prolific.

He's hardly played for us though, and isn't likely to get loads of opportunities.

Dan is young though, and no doubt could do with a goal.

Cambridge back of last season, he came on late on and had real fire in his belly

Loads of energy, pace and def has something

Sadly, just about every other tine ive seen him, hes looked like he just doesnt want to be on the pitch

Im not daying he cba, just looks like he cba

Jerome, on the other hand, i thought he did ok yesterday and has a part to play last 15
