Hoping this will be my first away of the season if I can get tickets, but away capacity is less than it used to be.  We'll be in the Bycars End, the Hamil Road now occupied by Vale fans.

Not sure what capacity of Bycars is but less than Hamil Rd so not likely to be enough to satisfy demand.

£25 in home end for this game so presume same for us.

I can just hear them saying "Bycars" in that puddled Staffordshire accent.

Yes, nearly as annoying as the Dau-beh accent.

There's a commentator on MOTD with a Potteries accent, seems to make up words, "first" is "faced" or something, very odd and distracting to listen to.

Sure away fans were in other end on EFL show last week

Definitely swapped ends, but Vale fans only seem to be using about half the Hamil Rd, much of it is empty.  They did an official "that's the last time we'll be in the Bycars" write up at end of last season.

Seems like a big thing to me to have your stand swapped round. I think their main lot go in that one down the side but there will be people who've sat behind that goal for donkeys years with a routine, now its taken away.

You booking taxis for after game😀

we gave up went back to that pub through the park

Its a horrible ground innit. Like not one good feature about it.

Looks absolutely awful on the telly.

Non match going folk wouldn't have any idea what a moody gaff it can be.

It is horrible, a dog to get to and from, that half finished stand where the dugouts are is shit, the concourse a disgrace, grim as owt outside... even the word Burslem is rough 😂

Just looked it up, the Moorland it's called. Was alright in that massive beer garden apart from the colonel going topless. Wonder if it's still practical to get to or if there's somewhere else closer to that opposite side of the ground.

Think them taxis are still just turning around the corner to get to the stadium now!

not been since 2017 and we drove then. If getting the train, is it best to go to Stoke and then a taxi to the ground/pub nearby?

Go into Hanley and drink there.

It’s much bigger than Stoke with lots of bars etc.

Taxi from there to Burslem was £5 last season.
