Port Vale (A)

Hoping this will be my first away of the season if I can get tickets, but away capacity is less than it used to be.  We'll be in the Bycars End, the Hamil Road now occupied by Vale fans.

Not sure what capacity of Bycars is but less than Hamil Rd so not likely to be enough to satisfy demand.

£25 in home end for this game so presume same for us.

But given you have not listened you have by definition no idea what he is saying.

I should have said not listened since 12 months, I googled what he’s been saying and nothing has changed except he things he has had some success in pushing back on the closing of ticket offices and redundancies. It’s only short term success it’s inevitable it’ll happen... hence the scargill comparison.

No trains at all on Trainline.

Do they put a timetable on nearer the time?

Nothing at all coming from Notts/Derby direction, EMR totally off.

There was a strike when we played these last season but some EMR were still running.

Plans cancelled, ticket flogged. It's a fucking joke.

Mine came in post 2 days after so would expect early next week

Deluxe people carrier booked

Complete with reclining seats , pop up bar & air fryer .

Reality .

Big bazz's cheapo van from Daubhill, possibly taxed . Built for 8 but 12 at a push . Apparently picking up from the Albion 8.35

Doesn't understand sat nav, so can we provide a map with the required route highlighted in pink crayon  .

No toilet breaks , so considering the average age of our group , empty  coke bottles will be provided.

£195  for the day .

This could be epic.

3 more league matches then upto the international break

Got to start winning away games against these shit teams.

Burton, Reading & Cheltenham will all finish bottom half and we’ve only managed 1 win against a team that haven’t scored a goal all season!!!!

You don’t get promoted at home.

Mate of mine took early retirement when Virgin lost the WCML to Avanti. He’d been on £72k per year. Based in Preston he either drove South to London and back or North to Glasgow and back. Sometimes he’d do both in one day if his first run was early enough. If he ran out of driver hours (or would do part way through the next journey) they’d replace him and he’d go back to Preston on his own train in first class.
