To be honest I wish they did watch more linear TV, it'd make my job a lot easier. 10 years ago, book an out of home campaign, national print ads, TV ad, radio slots, thanks very much off to the pub.

Now with digital being so reactive and granular you spend days with half the spend. Not to mention its not just image and trailer now, you have to have so many other assets as the drop off if you don't refresh the content after a certain amount of impressions you are again wasting money.

I tell you, working my poor old fingers to the bone 😁

Good

My kids are annoying you and this makes me happy.

  • We are a dying breed. For all its faults, the BBC is the best tv and radio station in the world. The fee will eventually disappear due to reducing numbers of licence payers and the BBC as we know it w

  • Totally agree radio6 , BBC Sounds, iplayer, website etc are all worth it for £12 a month or whatever. no ads and the content is generally top drawer.

  • Virgin can't be beaten IMO. Vodafone is also very good and much cheaper than BT.

Oh I don't sell to anything to your kids.

Only very odd teenagers buy theatre tickets.

Its more how the overall landscape has change.

It’s all my own hair. I’m growing it long. OK? Not to cover a thinning patch or owt. So fuck off.

My kids barely watch telly. Eldest (12) does a few films here and there but its 80% phone, tablet and his comp.

My youngest whos 9 never does. Phone, Xbox and tablet.

Neither of them know what channels 1,2&3 are.

Anything they do watch is via an app.

My brother's grandson has (I understand) a big telly in his room, knows all about 'casting to tv' whatever that is, but watches stuff on his mobile instead.

So most of you dont pay TV license....have a firestick, refuse to pay for sky....

You scouse bastards......

I think the consensus was that pretty much all of us pay our TV licence.

Many more of us (including me) don't pay for Sky.

They should give those with a firestick priority at the new BWFC Car-boot sale / bric-a-bra thing you do....a 'beat the lines voucher'....

Voucher can also be redeemed at any local foodbank.

Sky rang me today to sort out my Glass cancellation.

Offered it to me for £60 a month for 6 months if I went ahead.

They’re clearly desperate.

I told them that I’m thinking of just stealing their coverage via a third party digital device, mentioned

You by name as one of those who does it (got your address off Kent), and they said they’d send the bogeys round to kick the fuck out of you. Or the army now all the Met lads have handed their pistols back in.

I'll best start stapling my winkles onto the front of the house creating a hedgehog like defensive barrier

Who is the best provider for broadband at home

Been searching around but I can't make my mind up.Currently with BT but they are quite expensive for what we need

Eg internet and Netflix, must be unlimited due to when grandkids come round

Most use the same infrastructure, so it's more about getting the best deal. Use the link above.

Me too mate. Much better than TV nowadays.

Some of the documentaries are wonderful, and the real enthusiasts get so deep into their topics.

Use Vodafone and we work at home 80% of the time with two of us on line all day with meetings etc and three teenage kids - never had any issues

BT, EE, Plusnet, TalkTalk, Sky etc all use Openreach so go with the best service / cheapest as you wish.

If you have fibre such as Virgin or Youfibre etc then they obviously give you much better speeds but usually a touch dearer.

anyway, virgin all day long for me

not least cos i live 100m+ from the BT box
