November 14, 20232 yr I think his comments are perfectly legitimate in this case. You have to release your players for internationals, and rightly so, but at the same time putting rules in place to ensure strong teams is a bit bollocks when they're not around.

League is paramount, and should we lose few willbbe upset, however he is correct in that there are conflicting rules. Additionally, because we can't play entirely a team of kids, that means some players who he'd rather rest will have to play. Potentially risking their fitness for league games.

Think you have to play 5 players from last league game. If 5 or not available due to International break you are at a disadvantage if playing a team with 0 call ups. It is why international breaks are there, seems daft they do not apply to this one competition. Just emphasises how Mickey Mouse the competition is. (Unless we get to final ! 😂👍)
